Hello, community. Had nothing to do for these ten minutes and found this forum section. Everyone knows everybody, and I know hardly anyone here. Although few might have already noticed a parvenu here on forums )
 
Registered on LotC over a year ago, however I've played for a first week then got busy, returned back in May '15.
 
I'm an avid fan of roleplaying, passed through Warcraft 3 and WoW, GTA SA and FRPs, some other MC roleplay servers... Hell, I even participated in World of Tanks SIMS roleplay once, that's some crazy stuff. Ten years in total, and yeah, most of the time I hardly keep myself from using that as an argument )
 
More elaboration on all this roleplay experience:
 

Warcraft 3 - firstly, hello to all oldies who ever caught CotMRP map or similar back in '06 or so. If you're getting nostalgy since then, you'll be glad to know that WC3 roleplay is now overwhelming on last living shards of bnet. People use hosting services like makemehost or such to unite in their games players from all realms. They roleplay everywhere: Diplomacy (total-war like), LoaP, etc. A cancer to me, though better than nothing.

 

WoW - not much, to be honest, just two roleplay guilds on RU realms. Always desired to get on Argent Dawn, though couldn't afford euro subscription that time.

 

GTA SA - an ultimate roleplay experience in modern setting! On most developed servers people begun to move away from mafia and gangs and create colleges, offices and political parties. Almost every aspect of modern real life takes place in here.

 

FRPs - I'd add browser games like UrbanDead or Shintolin there since main coordination and roleplay related to them happens on factions' forums. Tried mythweavers a bit, but stopped on a native roleplay engine website. Participated mostly, mastered a bit. It's a very versatile entertainment, if you don't find a game fitting your taste, you can always host your own. However, lack of graphic accompaniment leaves FRPs as an entertainment only to the most sophisticated, who I certainly don't belong to )

 
Favorite themes in roleplay - law and crime, political intrigues and espionage, bureaucracy and town-planning, adventures and exploration. We tend to get in roleplay what we are lacking of in real life )
