Character Traits:
Name: James Coleson (goes by Red)
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: 20
Red was born to a poor family and lived most of his life as a farmer, until when Red was 14 a mysterious plague sickened most of his village including Red. Though while the plague killed others it merely turned Red's hair and skin crimson. He was shunned from his village being blamed for the plague because his red skin labeled him as a spawn of the devil. During a more violent attack by a mob his mother and father were both skewered by pitchforks. His brother and him fled into the woods, and disappeared. His brother left him alone, saying that he was the reason their mother and father were dead.
Red wandered the land looking for a place that would take him in. He came into the presence of a large group of pirates that took him in. He lived with these pirates for four years becoming one of their crew. He learned many valuable skills such as running advanced parkour skills from running up and down the mast, as well as swordsmanship which he excels at. On Red's 18th birthday their ship was attacked and sunk of the coast by rival sailors. Red managed to swim to shore and now travels the land looking for paranormal oddities and working as a sword for hire.
 
Personality Traits: Red is an energetic easygoing person with a good sense of humor
Ambitions: Red aspires to find all the great mysteries the world has to offer, with a little adventure built in
 
Strengths/Talent: Red is well muscled due to his labors work on a farm and then a ship. He is very light on his feet and able to find a way around almost any obstacle. Red is very skilled with a sword and has extensive training in using throwing knives which he carries in a hidden slit on his side.
 
Weaknesses/Inabilities: Red is deathly scared of snakes. Also red can sometimes be hot-headed when someone provokes him. This can cause him to rush to conclusions. He has this same problem when someone close to him is put in danger.
 
Appearance: Red stands at a confident 6,1(height) he is slim but muscled.
