What’s the rule you agree with the most?:  The rules for villains. It seems to keep them in check but give a purpose for them, other than simply doing nasty things. I hope that it keeps them entertaining to play and for others to play with them.

What is roleplaying?: Taking up an identity of a character and performing actions, communicating, and thinking as if you were that person. You have to act as that person would in every situation, whether it be bad or good for you.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use information that your character on the server does not know, but you know, in any way. This ranges from hearing about something in a chat or getting a whisper from a friend, but if your actual character does not know, you can't act on it.

What is powergaming?: Powergaming is when you either do things that your character simply could not do, such as taking out several bad guys at once with a stick, or not giving another individual the chance to react. If you're in a fight it could be 'Pushing the bad guy over, knocking him out', when it should be 'Pushing the bad guy in an attempt to knock him out'

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Lilyana

Character’s gender: Female

Character’s race: Elf: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 25

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): The land of Vailor reached out to Lilyana as an old friend does after a long journey. Much could be said about this comparison, as Lilyana and the others who have fled from the Worm's destruction and the fighting of her people have only recently brought her to this new land with high hopes. Magic and Daemons, Aenguls and Politics, none of those things interested Lilyana, in fact the bored her. Often during lessons on history or the tales from the elderly, Lilyana would be seen daydreaming in the back or even slipping away into the sun-filled outdoors.

 

And that is where she finds herself most at home, amongst the animals of the land and plants around her. Like most Wood Elves, Lilyana finds herself at home in the simplest of forests where she can become one with nature. The fighting on Athera often had Lilyana hiding indoors, away from the animals and blocked out from the sun. The squabbling between the High Elves and the Wood Elves, and the eventual fighting, also disagreed with Lilyana, and she would only partake in whatever action would lead to the most immediate peace, allowing her to return to her green, sun-filled sanctuary.

 

With the hopes of peace on the Isles of Vailor, Lilyana looks to a future she has wished for some time: the chance to live in the outdoors, tending to crops and animals alike, and enjoying the sunshine. Some may find her dreams a bit simple, but for Lilyana, simple is enough.

 

 

 

Personality Traits: Often happy and carefree, wishing to stay to her animals and plants instead of people. When forced to engage in activities or conversations that she does not want to do herself, she will look for the swiftest way of getting back to her activities. While some see this as being lazy, she is far from it. She just finds animals and plants more worthy of her time than people.

Ambitions: To tend to crops and animals alike, living in peace. Perhaps her own farm or grove if she is capable.

Strengths/Talents: She is quite knowledgeable about plants and animals, from the best way to nurse a sick calf back to health to which plants are medicinal and which are deadly.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She loathes being indoors and spending time away from her plants and animals. She is an unskilled fighter and has little interest in becoming stronger outside of knowing the basics to protect one's self.

 

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): Lilyana is slightly smaller than an average human, which is not uncommon for Wood Elves. Her skin, however, is lighter than most of the older Wood Elves. Due to being forced indoors for most of her early life during the fighting and destruction on Athera, Lilyana has not developed the deep tan she would normally have had if she was born during peaceful times. This will change as Lilyana is able to experience the outdoors more and embrace her true, Wood Elf colors.
