What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you play as a made-up character. (Usually in games)

What is metagaming?: Using knowledge that you know out of game to use to your advantage. Example: John new the enemies were behind the barricade out of game and used that to his advantage.

What is powergaming?: Doing something in RP that your character is incapable of. Example: John had just started out as a new character yet he said that his character had the ability to fly.

 

In-Character Information

Character’s name: Renshan

Character’s gender: Male

Character’s race: Human

Character’s age: 19

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Renshan grew up in a large city, as his parents were Heartlanders. His father was a merchant and his mother stayed at home to raise him. There is one day that is significant in the story of Renshan. It is the day that he was abducted. Renshan was abducted by someone unknown to him to this day. He was abducted when he was about 12 years of age. He had been lured to someone’s house when they told him they were his father’s friend. This man ended up training Renshan to be his fighting slave. And this was the biggest mistake that the man made. When Renshan was about 17, he was fighting one of the other slaves and he realized, he could’ve escaped the entire time. If the man had trained him to be a ruthless fighter, then that means he could’ve killed him. He then plotted with the other slaves. During a fighting match slaves that weren’t fighting would subdue the guards, while the slaves that were fighting would attack the owner. While those fighters while doing that, Renshan unlocked all of the doors.

They all then sprinted out the doors to realize they were in the middle of the forest. While they were stunned by the fact that civilization was nowhere to be found, guards started to chase them. The slaves ran into the woods making sharp turns until they lost the guards. Renshan ended being one of the fighters that was alone by the time the guards were gone. He could not find any of the other slaves. He soon realized he was no longer on Athera. The slave owner had moved him to Vailor when the worm attacked. How did he not notice? Finally, after days of walking, he found a road. He eventually got onto a carriage that took him straight to Felsen. He then started making some money as a small time merchant. After he gained money, he bought weapons and leather armour. He decided he would use his strengths to his gain. He started to take assassination jobs. After about about a year of jobs, he started to make a good amount of money with each job. Renshan is also determined to find his parents. He is constantly looking for traces of them. He also wants to find the evil slave owner that abducted him. And when he does find him, he will show no mercy.

Personality Traits: He is very intelligent. This because he reads a lot when he is not training or assassinating people. He usually does not show mercy to his victims.

Ambitions: He loves to read. He also wishes to create his own guild as an assassin.

Strengths/Talents: Swift, Good at dual-wielding daggers, Archery

Weaknesses/Inabilities: He is not very proficient with big swords (because his father never trained him with them), Over-ambitious
