-Tribute-

 

Tribute in Orcish culture, is the act of handing over/forfeiting goods or services to those who demand it. The law of demanding tribute is simple, if they are stronger than you, you must comply. Failure to do so will often result in beatings varying in their level of severity or in some instances, death. It is rare as well as frowned upon for an Orc to demand tribute from another Orc unless there are over-reaching circumstances in place.

 

-Tribute factions-

 

To aid in their efforts, the Iron Uzg demands tribute from nations, groups or factions as a sign of good faith. As a result, these parties will typically remain free from any harm and aggression from the Orcs so long as they continue to pay the tribute. It is not uncommon for the Iron Uzg to defend tribute nations from harm in times of crisis or war, if they prove themselves a valuable asset. The amount of tribute per-party varies, it is dependent on their size, productivity etc. 

 

-Tribute Masters-

 

Each tribute party will be given a tribute master, whos role and duties is to oversee and make sure that the required amount owed is paid. Whilst the particulars of the what the tribute is and how often it should be collected is decided by the Rex, actually taking it is in the hands of the tribute master and any Orc he enlists to help him.

Tribute type: Weekly

Tribute: All grades of wood, rotten food, linen

Tribute type: Once a month

Tribute: Two stacks of iron minimum, any amount of lapis

 

The Enclave of Karakatua: Tribute Master - Ghazkoth'Braduk

Tribute type: Weekly

Tribute: Lapis, hay bales, rotten food

 

The Ancillary of Ker'nor: Tribute Master - Duruh'Gorkil

Tribute type: Weekly

Tribute: Rotten food
