What is roleplaying?: The acting our or participation of a role or roles

What is metagaming?: The usage of knowledge your character should not have but you OOC do have.

What is powergaming?: (This one i didn't know the exact definition for so I looked it up) "style of interacting with games or game-like systems, particularly video games, boardgames, and role-playing games, with the aim of maximising progress towards a specific goal, to the exclusion of other considerations such as storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie."

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Oliver

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Human (Sub-race Highlander)

Character’s age: 24

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): (I'm taking a complete shot in the dark right now, hopefully you still enjoy)    Oliver, finally having just reached the age of maturity, has joined Haense's scouts. The year is 1517, and the cold air nips at him while he trains. Suddenly there is a loud vibrating noise off in the distance and the men of Haense begin marching towards Dour Watch. Oliver, now a man of Haense, joins this march, with hardly any details of why. The further they march the colder it gets. Soon Oliver falls behind the rest of the party. Suddenly his horse bucks him off and runs away. He now must survive the harsh wilds and the elements.

        The year is now 1521, Oliver, now rugged and worn and beaten, is 24 and has come across a village he's never been to before. After a quick stop in the village Oliver begins to think too deeply. Maybe this is his chance to escape his current life of just surviving and getting by. He can now have a life, one with a house, and work, and a family. All the luxuries he wasn't able to have before. Oliver decides that this is what he will do. It's time to start anew.

Ambitions: To obtain a house, luxury, family. All to have a better life.

Strengths/Talents: Adapts quickly to surroundings, silent and composed.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Does not do well in crowds, sharp ears: sensitive to loud and sharp noises.
