All these events (Or at least 98% of them) were really played out on the server and these are real people.

My name is Ademas Ragthieu, I am a Northerner of the great land of Aegis. And this, this is my story.

Age: 24

I awoke in the cloud temple. The monks standing over me, telling me I had been fully healed. How did this happen? How did I get here? I asked them, what happened to me and what was my past? They said nothing and I was brought to the entrance of the cloud temple. I knew all about this world, mostly. As if I had lived here, but I knew nothing of my past.

I was wearing leather clothes with a green camouflage vest over it and an iron sword on my back, the word, "Medasa" engraved on the blade. Was my name Medasa? No, I knew it to be Ademas. I knew most about me except my past. Confused, I walked down the steps of the temple, I was met by a friendly elf. He called himself Bawapy, claiming he knew me, he cheerfully said, "Good, you're okay, shall we head out?" I then knew that he was a good friend of mine, maybe I would regain my memory travelling with him? With this thought I spoke nothing of my amnesia.

We didn't necessarily know where to go. We just walked around, through deserts, forests, taking in the sights with no real objective. We ran into some sketchy characters, none of which Bawapy claimed to know, did we have any other friends? We eventually found ourselves at the Orc capital city, can't quite remember what it is called, we walked around the city, snooped around on the walls and were done with it. We went past it, past a castle like building and kept exploring the deserts.

We stumbled upon some cacti, Bawapy rushed to try to collect them, but they were too strong, he told me, "You know how much I love cacti." There I remembered, Bawapy's obsession with cacti. He kept trying to take all the cacti he saw. Most of them were too strong or too dangerous to try to collect.

I found one and decided to give it a go, I was able to grab a piece, I handed it to Bawapy and he thanked me. We continued, eventually we started talking about establishing a home, I'm assuming we didn't have one before, we thought maybe near the Orc city, but not in the desert. We kept walking and found the end of it. We discovered plain grasslands and an old fortress. Then we saw them, a couple of humans. We went up to say hello, I don't quite remember their names though. We spoke for a little while, nothing too interesting came up, until they told us of a wanted Orc, I believe his name started with a Z, oddly enough. We decided to make it a job, since we didn't have many minas, we decided to help him for some money.

Not much happened for a little bit after that, we waited, chatted a little, until we saw an Orc. We him out to the humans and they were off, they recognized him. But instead of chasing him with the humans for the minas, we decided going after him unarmed would be unwise, and we continued on our adventures.

My memory isn't all that great at the ripe age of 64, so all I can remember is being back at the cloud temple. This time we took a different path, we decided Whisper Isles sounded interesting so we headed off on that path. And on that day, I met two people who would change my life forever. One to save my life and one to turn me into a wise man one day. We walked down the path and found a man called Botar. Just outside of Whisper Isles. We said hello as he seemed like a friendly dwarf. We asked if he knew of anything we could do, as we were looking for an adventure to go on, or maybe a job. He did tell us one thing, of a beautiful floating city he visited recently. We were intrigued so we asked for more information, to this day I don't remember what he said, he didn't give us much to go on, though from that day I dreamt of going to that city. We said we look forward to meeting him again and continued on into Whisper Isles.

We took a look around in awe at the sights. We saw the sun set and we were hungry so we decided to find an inn. We looked around and spotted a human woman. We struck up a conversation and I complimented her on here looks. Haha.. the good ol' days. She was flattered and we continued, we asked her where we could find an inn, and surely enough we were all standing in front of one. We laughed at our foolishness and bid farewell, but before that we had some questions, we asked her first for her name, and where we could find a job. She introduced herself as Bell, a guard of Whisper Isles. She then told us there is a man called Goblin down the road that may need some assistance. We thanked her and left, not knowing the important role she would play in our lives.

The inn seemed to be abandoned, like it has been closed for weeks. We thought this shouldn't stop us, we took some bread and left the minas on the counter. Bawapy and I didn't quite know where to sleep, we didn't see any beds and considered leaving. Though before we left I stumbled upon a trapdoor and told Bawapy to come, alas! It was the bedrooms. This time we did not pay for the services, we walked into the rooms and said goodnight. But I didn't want to go to bed quite yet. I decided to snoop around while Bawapy slept, and the inn basement was equipped with a handy reed farm beside a small man made pond. I looked into the pond and noticed my eyes. They were an odd color, a strange orange tint. I came to the conclusion that that would be something to investigate another day.

I continued my snooping and found a chest, I thought, "Why not take a thing or two, just to aid me in my adventures." I opened up to the chest and heard Bawapy's voice, "Ademas! We are not petty thieves!" with a frown on my face I closed the chest and went on to bed. As did Bawapy.

That night I had strange dreams. A woman, I did not see her, but I felt her, she claimed to be named Felune. She said dark times are coming and that she can help.

Chapter 2

Nearly a year after the events of that night, I was still having those dreams. I didn't think much of them, I only wish I had started looking for Felune sooner...

After months of exploring and discovering new places with Bawapy, I decided I wanted to go to the Dwarven capital of Kal'Urguan, and we eventually found our way there. But not the right way, we couldn't find the entrance so we jumped the wall and down into a nearby lake and we were in. We went through the waterfall and down the enormous steps down to the city. And on that final step, I was in awe at what I was seeing. The enormous, beautiful pillars holding the city up, the lava under the glass and the magnificent tree farm that seems to go on forever.

It was truly amazing and baffled that those small men built it. Bawapy and I explored a little, visiting the throne room, the farms and meeting a few dwarves, and we decided it was time we headed out. As we neared the main gates, which were easier to find this time, the guards stopped us. They wouldn't allow us to leave. They claimed that there were undead outside.

Me, being my young ignorant self, just wanted to leave and didn't see any undead so I thought it would be fine. Since the guards refused to open the gate, I found a way around, I climbed onto a tree and onto the gate and jumped down into the water. I walked away from the city smiling at the guards. Bawapy was let out by the guards to come with me. When leaving the outer reaches of the city, we ran into a princess, Princess Ariana. She was arguing with some dwarves about how she was not there to harm them. The guard claimed that an elf tried to kill him once, being neutral with all races, I did not like this. I stepped in and said, "So it was just a random elf that attacked you?" "Yes" said the dwarf, "And it wasn't this elf right here? Then what's the problem?"

The dwarf sat there for a second, thinking, then let them pass. The princess thanked me and Bawapy and I left. But our journey was to be interrupted again as we were leaving the city as we saw a zombie creepily emerge from the water to get us. "Childs play!" I thought, I pulled out my sword and started fending the zombie off. It swung at my eye, injuring me and pulled me in. All I heard was Bawapy's voice, "ADEMAS!" and everything went black.

While I was out, I saw Felune. Not saying anything this time, just staring at me, with a look of sorrow. Then my eyes..well.. eye opened. I awoke in the cloud temple with a monk bent over me tending to my wound. I was told they couldn't treat my eye fully, it was then I became fully aware I could barely see, just out of the one eye.

Chapter 3:

Age:26

Bawapy and I didn't do much exploring after that. We went to Laurelin, then we came to the decision to finally settle down and make a home. He stayed in Laurelin while I went to look for a place for our home. To this day I still don't know what he did in Laurelin.

After a little while of searching, I stumbled upon the perfect location, in the side of a mountain. There seemed to be some tunnels and mines inside the mountain when I got there. So I covered the openings up and started collecting wood for my little cabin. After days of hard work, it was finally done, a cozy little cabin in the side of the mountain, which is now called Moonlamp Mountain.

I moved my supplies into it and began expanding into the mountain. It seemed for a little while that Bawapy and I were going to live a normal life. I had no idea the heartbreak, sorrow, betrayal and loss that was ahead of me. And the wise, hate filled warrior I would become.

I took a step back and admired my work on the cabin as the sun rose. Then I heard footsteps from beside me, I turned to see a happy looking elf. He cheerfully said, "I wasn't aware I had neighbors!"

I responded, "I'm new, just finished this place."

"Well welcome!"

"Thank you, I am Ademas"

"Tend'el"

Ah, Tend'el, one of my closest friends. He saved my life once. But then again, most of my friends have.

He took me up Moonlamp Mountain and around to his inn, the Oasis Inn. Tend'el told me of his plans to convert the barren desert into what is today Darkwood forest. He told me about the area and it's history, then he brought up something else. He told me the mountain has a dark secret...

To be continued...

For those of you who actually read this and care about it, I am sorry for releasing the chapters so slowly and for them being so short. I usually do these at night just before I go to bed and usually end up being too tired to remember the rest of what happened.

Thanks for reading!
