Felsen Mayoral Election

-The town crier enters the Felsen square and stands at the front of the fountain as he calls out to the residents.-

"Come one come all I bring thee grave news! Our Mayor Gustav Gradic has gone missing and is officially reported to be deceased. The duties of mayor will be passed on to our Head Steward who will act as interim mayor. The Head Steward Josef Vladov will now speak to you regarding the next mayoral election!"

 

 

-Following his speech the town crier steps down and Josef Vladov steps up to speak to the crowd gathered.-

 

"I thank you all for taking the time to gather and hope that you will keep Gustav in your prayers as he smiles down on us from above. But, the city must continue to function so as the interim mayor I will be administering the next mayoral election. Any person who has citizenship may apply to be a candidate for mayor. We will hold a single debate with the candidates at a later date so citizens can get to know them better and have more insight on who they might want to vote for. Anyone who officially owns property in Felsen will be able to vote anonymously. I ask all citizens who wish to run for mayor to announce their candidacy now! And I look forward to seeing you in the next couple of weeks for the debate and vote!"

 

-Interim mayor Josef Vladov steps down as he allows the candidates to speak to the already gathered crowd.-

 

((TLDR: Mayor Gustav is dead, I am interim mayor, vote will take place in the next couples of weeks after a debate, only registered citizens can be candidates, all people who own property in Felsen may partake in the anonymous vote for the next mayor of Felsen, and anyone who wants to run must post on this thread!
