Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.):

Daylen was born 28 years ago in the Silver Enclave's city of Haelun'or. To what parents, he knows not, as he was born with bright yellow eyes. He was considered impure by his family, who had thought their bloodline to be pure until then and was exiled nigh on immediately in an attempt to maintain the family integrity. Through a string of fortune he can scarcely remember, Daylen found himself among the wood elves of Laureh'lin, having long since renounced any high elven ways, not he knew much of those anyway. Before long, he managed to integrate himself into their society by the age of 10, if not as a fellow wood elf, at least as a well regarded outlier.

As he lived among the wood elves he tried to take on their ways. While FAR from a natural, he eventually took to the bow as his weapon of choice and, while he never revered nature the way the others around him did, he grew to see the importance of nature. Despite this, he yearned to accepted by the people who exiled him, and sought out any way to distinguish himself. To this end, he would often sneak out and venture out on his own when nobody was looking. In his small adventures, many of which took him to the depths of dark and foreboding caves he would often run into a strange, red mineral. He quickly began tinkering with this mineral which he was surprised to learn was literally just called "redstone" and that he had, in fact, been calling it by its name this whole time. In this way his life continued, tinkering with redstone, learning the ways of the wood elves, and going off on adventures, looking for ways to redeem himself in the eyes of his people. At age 18, he was considering leaving his wood-elven family and starting a REAL adventure, when the worm arrived and everyone left for Vailor.

When he arrived in Vailor, Daylen parted with his wood-elven brothers at the age of 20, and decided to go on an adventure to find his calling and redeem himself in the eyes of his kin. As he went west,slowly, as he insisted on investigating every remotely suspicious landmark he saw, Daylen began making something of the results of his tinkering. He formalized his tinkering process, researching through controlled experiments and thoroughly analyzing the results of each one, taking note of important interactions. At age 25, seeing the merit in formalized experimentation, having explored most of the Province of Laureh'lin, and wishing to walk in the footsteps of his kin, Daylen set a course for the high-elven Protectorate of Haelun'or and decided that he would seek out some way of learning the art of alchemy. Along the way, Daylen had a chance encounter with a dark elf whom he accompanied for a brief while, hoping to gleam something of the ways of other cultures. Parting with his dark elf friend, he has made his way to the Cloud Temple and set a course due southwest, to meet his kin and face his past.

Personality Traits:

• Not particularly talkative unless around friends
• Around friends, tries to be witty, to varying degrees of success
• Accustomed to travel and quick to pursue new adventures
• Easily distracted during his travels
• Eagar to investigate the mysterious, with a poorly honed sense of danger
• Holds a hatred of his fellow high elves who exiled him, yet wishes to be accepted by them

Ambitions:

• Wishes to redeem himself and be accepted by his people
• Due to his poor grasp of high elven culture, wishes to make some sort of great discovery in the hopes that his people will accept him once more

Strengths/Talents:

• Extremely perceptive, able to notice minute details and quickly judge a situation
• Scientifically minded. Capable of well thought-out research and experimentation
• Good at improvising. Especially in regards to escape methods.
• Good survival skills, honed on his many adventures

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

• Culturally inept. He knows little of the cultures of the world aside from the wood elves.
• Completely hopeless with conventional melee weaponry, and only competent with a bow
• Knows little outside of nature and survival, something he hopes to remedy with study

Daylen is 6'5" 150lbs, with light brown hair and bright yellow eyes. While on his travels, he often dons a red vest with a green undershirt. His skin is naturally very light, but faintly tanned from his time among the wood elves on adventures.
