Over time, he and his parents forgave each other, but Faenir stayed alone. Faenir built himself a small house, using very little trees, for he naturally cared for them as a wood elf. He lived off of the forest’s bounties. He sometimes would venture into the city to buy himself mead or metal. Many years later, after mastering the art of self-sufficiency and finally longing the company of others, he bade goodbye to his house, leaving it to be consumed by the forest.
