Extreme log in issues

Whenever I got to log into Lord of the Craft I will log in only for my client to entirely lag out. It'll stay like this for atleast half a minute before dc-ing with the message "Internal exception: io.netty.handler.timeout.readTimeoutexception". Usually after this i'll have to try atleast two more times before acheiving success. Any ideas?

I often get this same issue. Whenever I log on for the first time, I'll usually get DC'd a couple times before I can be on the server without issue. I noticed this happens more often in areas with more entities, so my guess is that my laptop just sucks, which it does.
