How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: It's a huge medieval role-play server.

What is roleplaying?: The change of one's behavior to assume a role.

What is metagaming?: Any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed rule-set, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits or environment set by the game.  

What is powergaming?: A style of interacting with games that is aimed towards maximizing progress towards a specific goal, to the exclusion of other considerations such as storytelling, atmosphere and camaraderie. 

 

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Jamie

Character’s age: 20

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Jamie was born and grew up in the realm of Vailor as the firstborn son of a modest middle-class family known as the Gibbs family. His family includes his mother Amanda Gibbs, his father James Gibbs, his younger brother Ian Gibbs, and his four pet dogs Sparky, Link, Nova, and Diesel. No-one in his family had ever done anything great aside from one of his ancestors founded a small town known as Bakersfield which now no longer exists and the ancestor wasn't a Gibbs, He was a Baker(not the cooking type of baker just the last-name type of Baker). He decided at a young age he was going to change that, so he took up inventing and began to study very hard. He eventually learned all he could from studying which wasn't much as he already knew quite a bit of knowledge beforehand and had wanted more, but didn't know how he was to get it.

 

     He had all but given up hope on gaining more knowledge to help him then when he was ten years old, a strange man wearing a strange black jacket and a blonde haired woman in an odd blue coat appeared from seeming out of thin air and that's when his life got strange. The man claimed his name to be The Doctor and when asked the question, "Doctor who?" He simply replied, "Just the Doctor." The woman said her name to be Rose Tyler and then following The Doctor's lead began to turn and walk away. Jamie the asked where they where going. The man said he was going back to a place called the TARDIS. Jamie asked if he could come. The man said no and started walking away again. Jamie then begged him to let him come and with the help of Rose convinced him to let him come. What he saw when they arrived shocked him, but amazed him and after seeing it wouldn't go back to the life he had. So Jamie after begging and managing to prove he's would be a great asset was allowed to travel with the Doctor and Rose. Rose eventually left, but Jamie  stayed travelling with The Doctor for ten years always managing to get home before anyone every noticed he was gone. Jamie then at the age of twenty decided to to a break from his travels with The Doctor and return home bringing him to the point where our main story will begin.

Personality Traits: Jamie is kind, caring, helpful, creative, resourceful, extremely clever, somewhat secretive about his past, somewhat forgetful, slightly mysterious, eccentric,  and a bit insane.

Ambitions: He aspires to be a great inventor who travels and helps those in need, while confusing them with his inventions, knowledge, way of speaking, crazy antics, and his huge and extremely odd wardrobe of clothing that has things ranging from oddly made coats to odd forms of spectacles, shoes, and hats just because he likes being confusing. 

Strengths/Talents: Great musician, knowledgeable, great with a with a sword, but prefers oddly to fight with a spoon, creativity, resourcefulness, and inventive.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Bow-fighting, and being forgetful.  

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He has brown hair, bright blue eyes, weighs 150 pounds, is 5 foot 4 inches tall, and it varies on what he wheres(his current outfit is a brown coat with a long ascot, black pants, and brown boots.
