What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the action of taking on a character within a game or a community. It is strictly staying in character.

What is metagaming?: Using out of character information in-game for your character's advantage. (i.e, “I heard you have the best sword in Vailor!” When in reality, the sword is a secret and only his character would know about it in-game! However, him having this sword is common OOC talk.)

What is powergaming?: Giving your character an unfair advantage during roleplay. (i.e, stabbing someone in the spine, killing them instantly.)
