This is my application for the server

Yes I have read through the rules

I agree the most with the Non-Cyber bullying rule because that is a big problem on the internet

There are no rules i am confused about

I found out about Lord of the Craft by looking up role play servers online and it was one of the first servers

 

Roleplaying- Acting out a specific role for pleasure (in the case of this server), acting as if you have a different role in a different world. Role-playing isn't just playing a game, it's like a different life, a portal where you leave who you are in RL and become someone else. It's where you take on the role of a fictional character with certain traits and you act as them, you are them, you breathe as them, you think as them, you make decisions that you character would make, not ones that you would mostly make.

Metagaming-Where you have prior knowledge of something that your character shouldn’t have.

Powergaming-Pushing your emotes onto another character, example saying that you “stabbed someone through the check and now they are on the ground bleeding” that’s forcing them to be on the ground bleeding.

Biography- Alex’s blood line can be traced all the way back to the city of Aeriel.  Alex’s ancestors were simple carpenters in the city, finding work wherever they could.  In 1351 when Aegis started to fall to the undead Alex’s ancestors fought hard to stop them.  No matter what they did the undead was to powerful to stop.  While most of the inhabitants of Aegis traveled to Asulon Alex’s ancestors took a different approach.  They traveled south in hopes of finding a different home.  Eventually they did and settled down.  The land they claimed was neighboring the Farfolk, so Alex’s ancestors were then also classified as Farfolk.  Alex’s ancestors then became very big in the steam engines and magic.

 

Alex was born in a seaside village where his father had worked as a carpenter. Alex's family never had alot of money, they lived a common life among the village.  Through Alex's life growing up he was told stories about how the undead had taken over Aegis, how there were mighty wars between the dwarfs and the orcs, and how an entire realm was destroyed by a giant worm.  Alex's father had always wanted to return to the realm, just to see what it was like, but he never had the money.  Alex was raised with the same enthusiasm as his father, he wanted to travel back to Aegis.

 

The council of the village had decided that it was time to start trying to reconnect with Aegis (It is Vailor now but the village wouldn't know that) so they took volunteers, Alex's father was one of them.  He went out on a boat to travel to the realm but never returned.  Alex was 14 when this happend.  Alex had asked the council time and time again to allow him to travel to Aegis to search for his father but they never let him.  So Alex trained, he studied the supposed creatures of the realm, he read up on the supposed history (remember this is all from stories), Alex read first hand accounts about the workings of the land.  To be able to travel to the realm you had to have reached the age of 18.  By the time Alex reached the age of 18 he had decided he was going to go alone so for 4 years he saved the money to buy a boat and travel to Aegis in search of his father and for a higher knowledge.  As Alex was traveling he had hit a freak storm in the ocean, the storm caused his boat to go off course and finally ended up capsizing and dumping Alex into the ocean.  To Alex's luck a fishing boat was in the area and picked him up, Alex was unconscious while they did this.  Finally they dropped Alex off at a harbor in Vailor and that is where his journey begins.

 

Traits-Alex views Knowledge over strength.  He views that his power comes from the facts and the stuff he has learned through his journeys.  Alex also hates to take another's life.  He hates the idea of having to kill someone and will only do it if he must.  If his opponent is weakened or trapped Alex will not kill him but rather leave him in hopes he will change his ways.

Ambitions- Alex hopes to make friends throughout his journies and reach a higher understanding of the world.

Strengths/talents-Alex has knowledge of most mechanics within the world.  He understands parts of the history (the history of the land would have been taught to him through stories) and views most topics at a higher level.  Alex over time has read up on some of the species located within the land and understands their biology.  

Weakness/Inabilities-Alex is not athletic, the only strength he has is when the adrenaline starts flowing.  If a friend of Alex’s is in danger or if an innocent bystander(s) are threatened Alex will put his own life on the line to help them.  He will give up what he has if it means helping someone else.  Alex is also overthinks situations, if the answer is very simple Alex will most likely not figure it out.  

Appearance- Height 6’5” Weight 148 pounds, Blond hair, Skinny and Lanky.
