How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: It's a huge medieval role-play server.

What is roleplaying?: Playing the role of a character that is not yourself and not deriving from that role by trying to incorporate an aspect of your personality if the character is not meant to have that aspect, though that does not mean the character you are playing cannot be based on yourself as you can simply play the roleplay as a variation of yourself if that is allowed by the rules set forth.

What is metagaming?: Taking outside information(information your character doesn't know) and using it to your advantage. For example: Let’s say you know a friend is in trouble, but your character does not and then you rally an army to rescue your friend that would be metagaming.  

What is powergaming?: 

 It's basically trying to play God by doing things you couldn't really do. For example: You could be fighting and then you type the emote, “Jamie slices John’s arms and legs off,” you would be powergaming. The correct emote would be, “Jamie attempts to slice of John’s arms and legs.”

In-Character Information

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add server lore, and events that happened to your character so that they don’t contradict history.): Jamie was born and grew up in The Holy Oren Empire in the realm of Vailor as the firstborn son of a modest middle-class family known as the Gibbs family. His family includes his mother Amanda Gibbs, his father James Gibbs, his younger brother Ian Gibbs, and his four pet dogs Sparky, Link, Nova, and Diesel. No-one in his family had ever done anything great. He decided at a young age he was going to change that, so he took up inventing and began to study very hard learning about things ranging from the beginning when God created Aegis and the first people to ever live to the more modern day events, while he spent his spare time inventing, writing songs and stories, creating conspiracy theories, and designing more crazy and colorful outfits to wear as he has a love for colorful things and had a friend who was an exquisite tailor. He eventually learned all he could from studying which wasn't much as he already knew quite a bit of knowledge beforehand and had wanted more, but didn't know how he was to get it.

 

  He had almost given up hope on learning more when a wandering trader came along selling his wares and that's when inspiration struck Jamie. He realized that travelling would let him learn more, so at the age of twenty he told his family he loved them and bid them farewell as he left taking his entire wardrobe, and his designs for his inventions. He had seen huge events before like the Plague of 1526 which, though he never wanted to have anything to do with the Plague, caused him to want to know more so he could help people. 

Personality Traits: Jamie is kind, caring, helpful, creative, resourceful, extremely clever, somewhat forgetful, eccentric, loves dogs and cats, and is a bit insane.

Ambitions: He aspires to be a great inventor who travels and helps those in need and learn how to conquer his fears as well as learning how to be a skilled swordsman, archer, and mage, while confusing people with his inventions, knowledge, way of speaking, crazy antics, odd stories and music, and his huge and extremely odd wardrobe of clothing that has things ranging from oddly made coats to odd forms of spectacles, shoes, and hats just because he likes being confusing. 

Strengths/Talents: Jamie is knowledgeable, a great fighter but oddly only with a spoon, creative, resourceful, inventive, often has ideas that are just crazy enough they might work, writing stories and songs, is a master of disguise, is great at impersonating people, conspiracy theories, and when he stares at someone his eyes seem to command enough power to terrify even the most ruthless rulers, powerful mages, and brutal warriors making them want to do as he says so his eyes that seem to peer into their very souls and know every single thought going on through their heads will stop looking at them(He doesn’t really know what’s going on through their heads it just seems as though he does), making up words, and is great at clothing design.

 Weaknesses/Inabilities: Jamie can't bow-fight, sword-fight, is forgetful, has a minor fear of heights, is nearsighted but has a pair of glasses which he invented, is unorganized, and is not in good shape(not in bad shape either he just can't handle running for too long unless he's running for his life), is not very strong, gets into trouble more often than not(He actually searches for it, but sometimes regrets it), minor fear of bats, clumsy, easily loses small objects if he’s not careful, he doesn’t prefer violence(He allows it in dire circumstances, but doesn’t like it), and his clothing is sometimes a dead giveaway.    

Appearance (List the extra details of your characters appearance, IE; height & weight): He has brown hair, bright blue eyes, weighs 150 pounds, is 5 foot 4 inches tall, is averagely built, and it varies on what he wears(his current outfit is a brown coat with a long ascot, gold rimmed glasses, black pants, and brown boots).
