What is roleplaying?: Playing the role of a character.

What is metagaming?: You knowing what your character doesn't know and using that information.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Metagaming is a form of powergaiming. Powergaiming is basically is an act of a character attempting to do something they wouldn't be able to do realistically. The main example of powergaiming is when you do something effecting a player and they would not be able to respond or stop it.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Reginald Harvikin is a Highlander was born on March 10th, 1530 in Seahelm. Reginald was a street urchin until one day he was offered the opportunity to murder a political leader of Orlan. With the money he saved up thieving and burglarizing houses he bought a blade and set off on his journey to Courland in 1548. Although he felt nervous along the way strangely he felt he was in his element blending into crowds and observing his target from afar; studying his patterns and daily activities. Reginald continued to watch his prey until he essentially new him like how he knows himself. 
And soon enough Reginald began to believe he was ready, he saw the damage that this corrupt political leader has done so he felt no remorse for what he was going to do. He waited until the night with no moon, nothing in the sky besides something that what felt was like an empty void. He crept throughout the official's house noticing and taking measure of every floorboard along the way. Till finally he was at the magnum opus of all of his training, but when he finally he raised his sword against this corrupt official he noticed there was no reaction once his sword struck him just the sickening thud of steel on flesh. Someone had beaten him to it. then then to his shock and horror a candle was lit. In the room stood a hooded figure with it’s hands covered in blood and a smile stretched along his face.  In a relaxed tone the figure said, “I knew you were right for job I just had to know you would go through with it. See… I have been looking for someone like you, someone that could do these little chores for me.” Thus began thee illustrious career of Reginald to be come the best assassin in Hallowvale, the mercenary town in the snowy mountains.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He loves to kill and hunt down people. He often finds himself deep in his thoughts. He treats everyone with respect and hates rudeness

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) To be the best Assassin.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He is a really good swordsman and making mutual beneficial relationships. Also he is very good at staying in the shadows and hiding in crowds.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) His social skills/charisma

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) 6 foot and 2 inches with black hair.

How is he good at killing people? Can he kill people better by using a sword compared to a bow?
