What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is where a person acts out the Character they are playing as and acts it out depending on the characters personality.

What is metagaming?:It is where a Character would use somthing that they know out of character to benifit/ use against someone in roleplaying. When in character they would have no way of knowing that.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting is where you force a action onto a player without there consent heres an example, Thunderboy Pulls out his knife and instantly kills Dragongod, instead of saying, Thunderboy pulls out his sword and trys to chop of dragongods head. What i just said allows the other player to dodge/block with his/hers sword.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

 

Character’s name: Ulric Barin

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 50

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): Ulric Barin came from a far place in a wood elf village called Meldon. As Ulric was a child his grandmother told him the stories and history of the elves,(Which changed the way he thought)He was inspired by the stories and history, mainly when the wood elves decided to rise up and fight back after all the miss treatment they took down the high elves from power, and after a little while of chaos it became calm and the state of Laureh'lin rose!, and then the wood elves offered amnesty to any high elf who renounced silver law and returned, but whoever didnt renounce silver law were hunted down.

 

When Ulric became an adult he joined the military and helped protect his people, he would regulary go home to see his family and to see his little brother, often when he went back home he would play with his brother and teach him how to use a bow and would run with him and teach him how to love and care for people but also fight so he can protect himself. after a while of the military he got promoted meny times and became a commander in the military and was then respected by his people. In the military they started using magic and when his general told him it sparked a memory of when he was a child and his grandmother told him that in his family far back was a dark priest that had extremely strong magic and would pass down its magic to whoever was worthy within his family, this made Ulric very uneasy but he felt an urge to use magic like his ancestors were telling him to use it.

Ulric was born in 1507

Personality Traits: He is funny, very happy , loves the wilderness, he has a slight anger problem. Ulric somtimes gets distracted somtimes. He does not like it when people tell him what to do unless they are worthy of his respect

Ambitions: Ulric wants to become a warrior for the Wood elf Military and become the greatest warrior.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?)He is an amazing hunter extremely fast and is great with a sword although most wood elfs are good with bows

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)Ulric is stubborn and has a slight anger problem

Appearance:Ulric is 5.2 feet tall black hair with blue eyes brown and green cloths with a few tears in it
