The roleplay must be initiated and properly advance to conflict before it goes to PvP "  for I find it refreshing since I've seen random fighting and resorting to deadly force without cause in too many game, such a rule is ideal.

In-Character Information

Character’s name:  Lólindir Vardamir

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: High Elves

Character’s age: 175

Biography ; Lólindir Vardamir was born and raised in Lin'sulan, growing up in the upper district with his father who was a moderately successful wine merchant he spent his early life surrounded by the trade. One day he was tasked with taking a sizable shipment of quality wines to the Duchy of Istria, but as fate would have it the ship he was to take was attacked and damaged by pirates some nights past. The shipment being so important to his fathers business he had no choice but to buy his way into a smaller, more humble vessel who's route would take him through Savoy as he had plan to do so originally. The ship had other cargo and merchants most notably a party of dwarfs and a half elf. Their drinking and merry-making distracted Lólindir from his agitated state, that was when he noticed a strange high elf dressed in a dark cloak. As he shifted he caught a glance of fine blue robes, his kin's presence there seamed out of place. Lólindir being alone and still somewhat on edge decided to introduce himself, as he stood he quickly stumbled down when a firm and hard thump hit the hull of the ship, he then heard blades being dawned and screams in the upper deck as well as the sound of crackling flames. Quickly making his way to upper deck the severity of the situation sank in, as he saw dark sales off the side of the ship, pirates. Frozen in place, the noticed the same High elf who he was going to approach coming up with a unnerving calmness walking past him to the fray, his hands started to glow with great intensity, the very skies lit up with ever growing thunder and lighting, the clam seas trembled, and with one firm pushing motion he separated the pirates ship, the force was so powerful the pirate ship almost capsized, it's mast fracturing so quickly it was indistinguishable from the thunder. As Lólindir made his way to Istria and back to Lin'sulan his mind was flooded with thoughts of magic and it's wonders. Three years past since then and his thoughts were of nothing else, and so he decided to leave his realm of comfort and seek out the arcane arts.

Your application has been put on [DENIED]

Unfortunately, this application has too many errors to accept. You are welcome to reapply in 24 hours. Reapplying sooner will result in denial. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit my forums profile, and send me a Private Message.

This application was denied for the following reasons,

- Your metagaming and power gaming definitions are incorrect. For help with this definitions, you may visit HERE, but be sure to use your own words.

- No magic is capable of conjuring thunder and lightning, calming seas and subsequently destroying a ship's mast -- all without exhibiting any signs of fatigue. Yes, a mage could potentially do these things(save for calming the seas), but all with very complicated build-ups, and specific backlashes. Please remove this part from your biography... if you have magic related questions, however, you may send me a PM and I can either answer them or point you in the right direction.

- Lin'sulan did not exist 175 years ago. To amend this, you may either make your character younger (no older than 50 -- I would recommend this age, as no elven father would send any elf beneath the age of 50 on a sailing expedition. Elves beneath he age of 50 are considered children.) OR you may replace the locations indicated with your application with locations that existed 175 years ago.

Good luck on your next application!
