What is roleplaying?: A form of gaming were the player acts as if he is in the game and the game becomes reality.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is where the player uses knowledge the he knows but the character he is playing as would not know to gain a upperhand.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: power-emoting is when a player forces results of is actions on another player mostly without the other players consent.

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Born in the mountain settlement Ard Ghorrock in the year 1518 Darrel was orphaned at the age of 7 and was left to fend for himself. He then realized he had a deadly skill in murder and as he grew older he used this skill to become an assassin for hire. After two years of murdering Darrel finally left Ard Ghorrock in search of a bigger prize. He traveled to many parts of the isle of vailor but mostly around the southern island. He would sometimes venture north but not that far only up to Felsen. He belongs to no faction he is simply an outcast a thug for hire.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) He's dark, mysterious and a man of few words. He likes the site of blood and enjoys killing. He hates spiders.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) The greatest killer or assassin the world has ever seen.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) He's a skilled swordsman and fighter. He is very good at sneaking around.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) He has a strange fear of spiders.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) He wears dark robes with a slight tint blue and normally has a hood over his face covering his features but below his hood he has a face which has been through many fights. Also he has strange glowing blue eyes.

-Your character's biography is very disjointed, and doesnt make much sense. His aprents died randomly... from what? And than at 7 years old he just randomly finds out he adores murdering people? After somehow surviving growing up /from 7 years old/ with no apparent family?

 

-Having one's character's parents randomly die, and the character randomly becoming a killer is surprisingly cliche. If you wish for your character to be some kind of assassin, or killer, please atleast give a reason for such.

 

-You cannot have a character with any magical abilities, attributes, powers, or knowledge in your application.

 

-You need to balance your character's skills and weaknesses. Having a fear of spiders (Which is considered a very small thing) does not balance out whatsoever your characters plethora of other skills.

 

-You dont explain in your character's biography where he got any of his skills.

 

-You may re-apply in 24 hours.
