How did you find about Lord of the Craft?: My friend mentioned it to me one day and he convinced me to give it a whirl. So here I am!

Renna was born in Ker’nor; a few months after a group of dark elves arrived there. But unlike most of the civilians present at the time, who were forced to join the high elves as they waged war against the wood elves, a small group of ten families escaped. These families resided in a nearby cave, making sure not to draw attention to themselves. Renna was among them, along with her mother. Although there wasn’t much to do, life went on normally. Renna was taught hand-to-hand combat, as well as swordplay. Out of the two methods of fighting, Renna loved swordplay the most. The elves stayed in solitude until the war ended, allowing them to leave. While some wandered around solo or in small groups of a couple elves, the majority headed out to rejoin their brethren.

The two groups of dark elves reunited and, like other races, headed to Vailor. The dark elves settled into an island with a volcano, the island also named Ker’nor. Soon, the volcano suddenly erupted and the elves were forced to flee into the wood elven forests. Upon turning 45, Renna decided to go with her venturous instincts and wanted to explore the forests instead of settling into their future capital (Ebonglade). Her mother opposed it at first, until Renna was able to convince her by saying that she was old enough. Her mother gave Renna a parting gift, though; a clear crystal necklace. Renna wore it with pride and bid her mother farewell, heading out into the woods to explore the great unknown.

Along the way, Renna learned an important lesson on racial prejudge. Only a few months into her trip, she stumbled upon a small village. The particular village was home to high elves, which weren’t so fond of seeing a dark elf. Reena was immediately prosecuted and fled the scene, managing to escape the village’s wrath, though she was forced to drop her sword (the only weapon she carried). She noted to herself that all races aren’t as friendly as people hope them to be, so she became a little more cautious around others.

One day, about a year later, rain started pouring across the forests. Renna had nowhere to go and tried to find some sort of shelter. But the trees where she was were too skinny and didn’t have that many leaves to offer support. Renna was about to give up hope, when she saw an illuminated light in the distance. Carefully, she approached it. The light came from a half open tree and, on closer inspection, had a wood elf and a dark elf present inside it, sitting beside a blazing fire. Though Renna was against going inside, she didn’t have a choice. She knocked on the outside of the tree, getting the elves’ attentions, before entering. Renna kindly explained her situation and asked if she could stay there until the rain lets up. To her surprise, the two quickly agreed.

The elves revealed themselves to be childhood friends: Daylor (wood elf, older) and Ryton (dark elf, younger). The three started up many conversations and found out that they all had a lot in common. At dawn, the storm cleared and the three came out of the tree. Right when they were going to part ways, Renna questioned the two on where they were going. Daylor said that they were heading north to find a place to settle in, due to him not being able to pay rent on a house in Laurelin anymore. Renna requested that she could join them and the friends happily accepted. Now, even after another year had passed, the trio continues their journey together to find a place to settle and to see where new adventures take them.

Ambitions: To travel with her newfound friends and to find her place in the fascinating world, as well as crafting herself a new and improved sword.
