Waking up knowing who killed you is metagaming. You also may not return to the site of your death for thirty minutes (Unless it was your character's home.)"

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Through friends on a different roleplay server.

What is roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of being your character, living the life through there shoes. Whether it be having a meal with his/her family to stepping on a battlefield, sword in hand.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of using out of character information to your benefit In-character, such as knowing someone's name or there background with out ever speaking to them.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is the act of forcing a action onto another player without giving them a chance to avoid it or combining a set of skills to make your character unreasonably overpowered.

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.)

Rauvelore Gilporelse was born in the city of EbonGlade to Llewellan and Glorican Gilporelse; a highly militaristic family based on smithing of the high quality weapons the Dark Elves were becoming famed for. His first few dozen years were spent in training; mostly disciplinary and military training but also some on his expected future trade as a smith in the family business. Around his 50th birthday he was offered two jobs.The first one being a smith at the family forge as his parents hoped; while the second being a job in the cities security which his tutor hoped. Though to both parties surprise he shunned both opportunities and became a mercenary, working under a Oren caravan company.

  The Dark Elf spent the next seven years working for the company, traveling back and forth between cities and cities for little to no coin but it was something different. Rauv was learning, experiencing new things in the field and that's what made the job worth while for him. Though for the Heartlanders and Raevir's he was traveling with he was not to be trusted, eventually the men devised a plan to get rid of there dark skinned companion and one morning near the city of Lorraine they simply left him on the side of the road sleeping. One the Dark Elf awakened and realized he was alone it gave him a brief period of shock, he had never been alone before he was confused. Eventually after hearing over some small talk at the city he learned of what happened and went to track his former comrades down. From Lorraine he took the road east then south but alas he lost track of them near the cloud temple. With limit money and supplies he gave up trying to find the trail and simply revised to find new employment.

 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Rauvelore is a very blunt person, stemming from his upbringings the dark elf will never beat around the bush; simply stating it as he see's it. Along with this the Dark Elf is very ambitious to get up in the world; to learn, experience new things. This trait often leads to interesting situations for Rauv as he goes to expand his knowledge, often meeting interesting people or learning new things. Rauvelore is a very prideful person; holding extreme radical beliefs about the Dark Elf people and about other elfs but in a summery: Dark Elves are great and everything else is a knock off or a wanna-be.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Rauv aspires to become a master soldier, to master as much combat related power he can hold.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) The Dark Elf has become decently good at combat; Rauvelore wields a Elven Longsword in battle and has become dependent on the weapon. Along with his skill is his athletics; being a fit person Rauv is able to run decently and carry his own weight in most situations.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Rauv is not a good people person; often belittling them or just being rude until a point of them scrapping. Unfortunatly for this dark elf, he was born with Nyctalopia, meaning he can barley see in low light conditions. 

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Rauvelore has long gray white hair with emerald green eye's. His typical attire is a long sleeve black tunic which hangs loosely on him do to it being a size to big for him. He wears tight fit brown pants and a assortment of rings on his fingers. The dark elf stands at six foot three and weights 147 pounds.
