What is roleplaying?: roleplaying is a way of telling a story through a character you've created yourself
What is metagaming?: metagaming is a form of roleplaying, though your character doesnt know whats going on, such as "James ran to Sophia, trying to aid her with having no way out."
What is power-emoting (powergaming)?:powergaming is making an action from a player,"Jake", to another player,being "marie", on which the "marie" in this surcomstance, wouldent be able to react, forcing her death,pain,ect.
 
In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Character’s age: (upon application, your character must be 18 or older, and depending on the race, they can be over five hundred years old!) Rose is 18
Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Rose was born in a small village along the edge of Axios with her father and brother, and a couple cousins, at the age of 1, her mother perished in a Uruk attack, since then, shes learned combat from her brother and cooking from her father.At the age of 16 she decieded to help her friend learn to sell items in another town, when she returned she found her father and brother left her, and they're entire village was burned to the ground.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Rose is very friendly, once you get to know her, she loves to hunt, and dislikes orcs, after what happened to her mother, she is also very short tempered.
Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Rose aspires to be a sailor,  she finds it fun to sail along the sea.
Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Rose is very good at hunting and is learning to sew.
Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Rose needs to work on being honest, and controling anger.
Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Rose is 5'2 and has beautiful blonde hair, grey eyes and normally has her hair down and has no scars.

Your app has been denied for the following reasons:

• Your metagaming and power-emoting definitions are vague. You may use the thread below to gain more information about them. However, please do NOT copy and paste them onto your application, as the AT would love to hear them from your own words;

• Your biography is a part where applicants get a chance to introduce the backstory of their characters to the server. The Application Team expects applicants to write two, lengthy paragraphs, clearly stating how their character found themselves arriving at the islands of Axios. Your biography is short and vague. What happened to your character in the past? What events changed them? How did they react to certain things?;
• Your biography contains what we would consider 'cliche'. Having your family killed by Orcs for no reason and having your hometown burned to the ground with no trace of your family is considered very cliche, due to this I ask that you change this to a more suited option.
• Your character's strengths aren't really connected to your biography. How would a girl that was thought to cook and fight be good at hunting? I ask you to fix this as well.
• Please choose a skin that better fits your character. LotC is a medieval roleplay server, and having an AoT skin (which I suspected it to be) does not fit the theme of our server. I ask you to please change this.
