What is roleplaying?: the acting out or performance of a particular role

What is metagaming?: any strategy, action or method used in a game which transcends a prescribed ruleset, uses external factors to affect the game, or goes beyond the supposed limits of the environment set by the game  

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: is an act of forcing the result of one's actions on another character, typically without the other player's consent and not giving the other character a chance to do anything about the emote 

 

In-Character Information
Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore.): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) Mikiel grew up in the forests, he learned how to hunt game and survive in the wilderness. He never personally knew his father and his mother passed away due to illness when he was twelve leaving the young mikiel to provide for himself. Not one for a life of home Mikiel has always traveled place to place for work and safe lodging. He's worked in taverns and transported goods place to place as well as selling good game.

In his travels hes made and lost friends enemies and lovers, but throughout the challenges of life Mikiel has learned how to adapt and keep a positive outlook of his situation. Mikiel is unsure what his future has in store but is willing to keep pushing forward to the bitter end.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Enjoys hunting and drinking. Very nice to people but does not forgive betrayal.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Decent with a bow and ready for action. Tends to act carefree and relaxed when not in danger. Tends to use his speed and cunning over brute force.

What is your characters ambition: To become a well renowned Mercenary and adventure across the lands

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) As far as physical strength is concerned he is nothing special. He acts overconfident and is prone to putting himself in danger with little excuse.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Tall 6'3 with with short well kept brown hair. He wears a bright red overcoat and has weird light blue tattoos covering his body. His eyes are blue and he doesn't grow much facial hair.

We would like to learn about what they went through, how they viewed events that happened to them, what changed their views on things, et cetera. Your biography is vague and short. • Being normal in terms of physical prowess is not a weakness;
• The 'personality traits' part of your application is supposed to project how your character behaves. Yours only consists of his likes and dislikes. Please do include some actual personality traits like being stingy, cold-blooded or et cetera;
• Your application does not contain enough strengths and weaknesses, please include at least three of each;
