What is metagaming?: Metagaming is using information that you know only, but the person who your playing as doesn't

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Powergaming is when you make your character do OP or overpowered things. Like doing a mission alone that needs to be accomplished by a group.

Character’s race: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 26

Biography: Born in 1450, Sylvari group up to be a hard working Elf, but no family. He doesn't care much for a wife, but when it comes to comforting others, even women, he will be the first volunteer. Sylvari has a lot of friends and siblings. His mother died when he was 7, so his father taught him ho w to be strong and provide for the family. He know how to fight and collect resouces for food and everyday materials. He can hold himself well. Sylvari is now part of the Elven Army., ranked as an Elven Trueshot, he is the best in ranged combat. He will do anything to keep his friends from danger.

Ambitions: My character aspires to become a leader, to help guide those who need to be. He hates people who is too prideful and people who cheat their way to get money. From murderers to theives.

Strengths/Talents: My character is determined in what he does, and will give his all, sometimes to a point where he breaks down. He knows self defense, and is the one of the best in the army. He is a quick learner.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: My character is over aggressive when it come to battles. He is often headstrong, and can easily get himself into trouble by acting without thinking things out.

Appearance: Sylvari has black hair, black and white coat with hood, and has a sword on is back. Black eyes with a broad face. Barely over 120 lbs.

Your application has been Denied for the following reasons:

 

• Biography is one of the most important parts of your application, as it gives the Application Team a chance to get to know your character! We would like to learn about what they went through, how they viewed events that happened to them, what changed their views on things, et cetera. Your biography is vague and short. Please write at least two lengthy paragraphs of well written biography;
• Your biography contains no server lore, where it needs to include at least 3 references. Lore can be found here: https://wikia.lordofthecraft.net/index.php?title=Main_Page Please do make sure the lore included is a part of the story, and does not look as if it was included just for the sake of having three lore pieces;
• Although it is not of a huge problem, the server's current year is 1578. You may want to adjust your character's age and birth date accordingly, since your current ones do not add up;
• You need to RPly join the Elven army after you join the server. You cannot join right away in your application;
• Your character's aspirations and weaknesses are vague and one-dimensioned. The Application Team encourages applicants to develop their character in more than one way, also beyond physicality. A few examples would be: having a short-temper, being patient, being cold-blooded et cetera;
• Your application contains multiple spelling and grammatical errors, please do check it one last time before applying, for any mistakes;
• Not all high elves are cruel and snobbish. Your character probably wouldn't be kind and caring 'unlike all other high elves';

• The 'personality traits' part of your application is supposed to project how your character behaves. Yours is pretty much missing. Please use the proper application format, and do not remove parts of it;
• Your character's skin is not appropriate for the server. It looks like a dark coloured, modern coat with a minecraft dagger on its back. There are many Medieval themed minecraft skins out there, take a look;
• Your definitions of metagaming and powergaming are vague. You may learn more about the definitions from the link below. However, DO NOT copy and paste the definitions as the Application Team would love to hear them from your own words.
