Definitions

What is roleplaying?: Becoming the character that you are portraying, in basically every sense of the word. YOu are the character. It is one of the best ways to play any game.

What is metagaming?: Basically using some information that your character wouldn't know. An example is looked up stuff, like on youtube or a wiki.

What is power-emoting?: Being so competitive that no one else can have fun. You making winning the whole point of the game and don't focus on the roleplaying aspect.

Character’s name: Rex Vortex

Character’s sex: Male

Character’s race: Wood Elf

Character’s age: 400

Biography  Rex Vortex lived in the Kingdom of Malin in Laureh'lin with his parents. When he became an adult, he wanted to leave Malin and try to make it on his own. He has just recently left the Kingdom of Malin and is in the woodlands next to the kingdom. His goal is firstly, to go to the city of Felsen to try to get money to forge his own path. In the woods, he was attacked by a pack of wolves, giving him some bleeding in the eye, which actually has improved his archery.

Personality Traits: Likes hunting and some parkour, being friendly to others, and enjoys hiding in the shadows. He hates his name spelled with a lowercase letter, doesn't like tomatoes much, and doesn't like people not living up to their potential.

Ambitions: A silent assassin, a shop owner, and hopefully, a somewhat skilled mage.

Strengths/Talents: Silent attacks, hiding in plain sight, bowmanship, cooking, persuasion, and making friends.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Physical strength.

Appearance: Medium height and a slender build. Long-ish hair, small scar on the eye, silver eyes, and ranger clothes.

-Your power-gaming definition is incorrect. Try taking a look at the wiki post linked in the application format for a better understanding of what power-gaming is.

 

-Your character's biography is far too short, especially for a 400 year old character

 

-There exists no nation referred to as the 'Kingdom of Malin', there is the Dominion of Malin, also referred to as Laureh'lin.

 

-Your character's biography states he is 400 years old, yet that would mean he would be born in AEgis, long before Laureh'lin, or the Dominion of Malin. I would suggest either scaling your character's age far lower, or implementing the needed lore from Aegis onward.

 

-Bleeding in the eye would make archery far more difficult, and be rather painful.

 

-You need to balance your character's skills and weaknesses, and expand upon your character's weaknesses.

 

-Your character's minecraft skin is unfit for a wood elf. Wood elves have dark skin, natural eye colors, and dark hair.
