7th of Sun's Smile, 1584

~

Constantine returns from the market with a loaf of bread and a bag of fresh apples in his hands. He sets his newly purchased goods down on his kitchen table, the place already set. He turns and paces over to the active fireplace, along the way picking up a bowl sitting on the mantle in his left hand. He grabs a soup ladle from his rack of cooking tools and uses it to fill his bowl with soup from the heated cauldron. Satisfied with the quantity of soup in his bowl, he finally sits down at his table. Constantine proceeds to eat the soup, periodically cutting up a few apples to drop the pieces into his stew, and using slices of bread to soak up the broth. When finished with the meal, he leaves the used cutlery on the table and walks into his study to rest.
