The Thanes of Ostermark

Below are those who have taken an oath stretching far beyond of their own lives, accepting the responsibility to champion their Jarl's banner and recruit a host to supply to their humbled lord. Such reknown a Thane is to have received the privilege of ascension, requiring much and undertaking a heavy responsibility.

 

The Thane's of Ostermark are permitted to do the following;

 

Rent/Tax the property you have received as per your Petty House ascending to Gentry.

 

Rally a Host to supplement your Jarls fellowship.

 

Carry a battle standard or unique uniform for those in your service.

 

A Thane may not do the following;

 

Acquire land outside the granted gentry.

 

Rally a Host apart from your Jarl's fellowship.

 

Disobey the Jarl on any matters.

 

Lead the Jarls fellowship or another Thane's host without prior permission.

Annoited Thane upon completion of the Hillfort of Svenheld, a historic service to Norland and her people.  A master architect, staying true to designs of old, Brennus leads the Kaedric District and rallies a host in name of the fellowship.
