Another cold day to get up to.

Another effort of old bones and muscles to move.

Another remnant of life's essence flickering on.

Another blurry glance in the mirror.

Another deep breath to calm the nerves.

Another drop of door keys in left.

Another painful bow to pick them up.

Another slow walk to the plaza.

Another break on the same old bench.

Another watchful day of business.

Another shuffle to the tavern.

Another cup of drink.

Another tale and telling of stories.

Another day of waiting.

Another lonely walk home.

Another turn to rest the body.

Another night of dreamless slumber.

14th of Snow's Maiden 1599. Altaron II. Stafyr, landless Lord and former noble of Lorraine, passes on quietly in his sleep. He appeared and was here, but for a brief moment. An observer in the end, leaving no high marks in history, leaving no heirs, sons or daughters, leaving no family behind. Just another lost soul of mankind on their wanderings through these lands. Seventy-five and not a year more. Taking his final rest in the city of Sutica, a perhaps broken spirit, in hope of salvation and true rest, awaiting the end of his tiresome and lonely journey through life. Some may recall the kind man he was, his fascination with dyes, the calm manner. Some others might not. To him, it matters little, for his last wish was to only be welcomed by his family in what comes beyond life.
