Sporadic 2844 Share Posted September 21, 2011 I know all the LotC devs are doing their best, but it's been 2 days since 'most issues were fixed' and if anything, the lag went worse. It's not LotC's fault: 1.8 was poorly programmed and was simply not ready for release. Minecraft has always been CPU-intensive for its size, but 1.8 is simply too much. I know our outside image is important, and therefore you want to maintain 1.8 so more people join. But existing players are suffering (also MAJOR weapon skill leveling) and the server population is slowly crumbling. We're going to end up with a server of 10 players with 100 in their respective weapon skill. Luckily, tomorrow there's an update scheduled...

Artisane 8 Share Posted September 23, 2011 1.7.5 is the best opsion as the magority of people are having BIG lag issues, i meen most people were having some lag issues before the update, now i cant brake blocks, cant talk, cant rp, cant fight, i can just about move, i think there should be a vote to stick with 1.8, or to go back too 1.7.5, this way your getting more people onto the server because your letting them have a better and more enjoyable experience. Sorry for my bad spellings :D.
