Oscar, the Armadillo Druid sat in the forests of Tahn, meditating, thinking. He had been out here for years, he thought. After a lesson with Archdruid Oliver, he decided to stay in the wild to try and become one with his newly acquired Druidic powers. As the days continued on, he ventured throughout the forest, finding animals and plants to observe and connect with.  He found birds, deer, fish, plants, and varieties of fauna and flora. One day, however, he met another person in the woods.

"'Owdeh, sir! W'at's your name!"

Without a word, the figure before Oscar withdrew his sword from his sheathe and darted straight him. The leaves and grass rustled as the figure ran towards Oscar. Seeing this, the druid quickly began to recall what Lyemar taught him in training.

"Put your left hand above your left, and grip the handle like a bat." Lyemar's words quickly flooded back into Oscar's mind. "Now swing it like a bat! Aim for the head or the chest!"

Using this information, Oscar unsheathed his shovel quickly, gripping the handle with both hands. With an incoming strike approaching Oscar's body, he quickly sidestepped and prepared for his strike. With one swift swing, the ironwood shovel connected with the attacker's head. The attacker fell to the ground, the grasp on his sword failing as he made his descent. Oscar swiftly ran away from the scene, locating the nearest trail in the wilderness.

"I guess I s'ould be gettin' back 'ome to t'e Grove now... T'ey're probably missin' me!

With this sentiment, he skipped happily along the trail, until he finally reached Sutica. Upon reaching Sutica, he was reminded of all of the wonder of Dear Sutica. The shops in the square, the delicacies of the taverns and bakeries, the fisheries on the docks, everything coming together to create a glorious city. Oscar skipped through city, through the crowded streets, towards the docks. He skipped down the Sutican-Druid bridge, finally arriving at the Grove.

"It's great to be home!"
