The Ranger and the wolf

A loud and free howl echoed through the forest that was dense with trees. A blur of dark green and grey run through the trees, jumping over small trickles of water on the ground that make rippling sounds as they snaked by rocks on their long voyage to lakes, and then the sea. A large, grey, and majestic wolf stops by a rock, and so does its owner. A tall, athletic man. With long hair as black of the raven, and eyes as grey as stone.

He was dressed in a simple but yet powerful looking deer skin tunic, with a white rabbit skin under shirt, and boer leather boots. He had a green cloak on, and a staff in hand. He jumped like a deer right over the fair-sized stone and landed perfectly with his dark wood staff in hand.

His wolf was large, with a wild coat of fur and a free look in its eyes, but it followed its master everywhere. As the jumped over stream and stone, and pass cave the light has never shone. They are hunting the prey, a large amber wolf, that glowed orange in the dark of night. The wolf could sense the prey near by, and was hungry for food and a fight.

The amber wolf was close, in the night it gave off a glow the drew the man and wolf near to it like moths to a flame. The wolf was cornered by a cliff, the hunt had really started. The amber wolf was hit by a group of arrows from the ranger, and fell.

They grabbed the dead amber wolf and dragged it to camp, before the feast began they gave the brain and heart to the great Strider, their god. Then they harvested the skin and fur for warm coats and boots, then they blessed the spirit of the wolf, and started the feast.
