What’s the rule you agree with the most?:  That would probably be the rule which prohibits disrespect or harassment of any kind because some servers, unfortunately, let that slide and allow people to get bullied and possibly make a destructive decision.

Are there any rule(s) that confuse you or don’t make sense? (if so we can help clear it up!): At first, I was confused about what some of the acronyms/initialisms stand for, but now I realize what they stand for.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I have always loved roleplay, The Lord of the Rings legendarium, and Minecraft, so naturally while browsing the Internet I discovered this server. When I discovered the server the first time, I didn't apply because I was busy with other things at the time. Now, after being reminded by GusanoArentonio after I met him on another server, I am thoroughly interested and have dedicated hours to learning the twists and turns of LoTC's lore and knowledge base. For years I have studied the Lord of the Rings legendarium. I have read and watched The Hobbit and the Lord of the Rings, and I have read The Silmarillion. I am a learning linguist, and I have picked up on some of the Elvish words in the legendarium. I could be handy when using Elvish words some time.

What is roleplaying?: My definition of roleplaying is acting as another person, real or fictitious, collaboratively with another roleplayer. Roleplay is not just story-telling; roleplay involves multiple people conceiving a story as they go along.

What is metagaming?: Metagaming is basing your character's actions upon what your out-of-character self knows, but your character does not know.

What is power-emoting (powergaming)?: Power-emoting is a way to manipulate another person's character. By using an emote or action that talks about affecting another character without the other character's player's consent, you're forcing them to do something involuntarily.

Biography  (Please make it a decent two paragraphs long. Remember to add three references to the server lore): (where does your character come from?; where have they traveled to?; what year were they born in? et cetera.) 

     Thessaly was born in the Silver City in the Haelun'or nation in Asulon. Her birth year is 1370. Her mother, Merenil, and father, Celebrendaer, emigrated from Aegis, the first realm. When the two arrived in Asulon, the High Elves had begun living in the Silver City. There they settled down and raised a family, producing two offspring: Thessaly, a daughter; and Agrigo, a son. Word from the leaders of Haelun'or and other nations, including the Sohaer of the Mali'aheral, Kalenz Uradir, began to spread. The rumor was that the Golden Pools of Asulon had been discovered, nearly identical to those of eras past. Thessaly's family were encouraged to bathe in the Golden Pools with the rest of the High Elves in order to maintain their superiority over the other races on Asulon. Both Thessaly and Agrigo's bodies had received traits like silvery locks and purple eyes, and more characteristics that were yet to be discovered...

     Thessaly and Agrigo were sent to the Eternal College by the government of Haelun'or in order to educate the young High Elven populace. There they studied topics like the entire history of Aegis and Asulon to date, the languages of that era, mathematics, etc. Thessaly excelled at her academic classes, but Agrigo did not, and tension arose between the two. Agrigo would get jealous of Thessaly's superior knowledge and intellect, so he decided he would be better than her at something. All day and all night Agrigo would study things like sciences and mathematics, and he would often rub it in his sister's face after he had learned so much. Thessaly naturally got tired of this so she challenged him to an intellectual duel. Whoever knew the most trivia facts would win, and the other one could stop trying to compete. Thessaly won by a narrow margin, and Agrigo dropped out of the Eternal College, absconded from the region, and Thessaly wouldn't see him again for a long time.

     After Thessaly graduated from the Eternal College, the Silver City was sacked by the Mori'quessir. In the sacking, her parents were said to have perished, though she never found their bodies.

     In Athera, Thessaly followed the rule of Kalenz Uradir as her Sohaer, and had decided to join the High Elven military. She was trained in a new military regiment called the phalanx, using long spears and pikes called sarissas. Thessaly participated in the siege of Leyulin, and after Haelun'or had been subjugated, she expressed disdain and wanted to help the state gain more autonomy. She followed Kalenz Uradir completely until his murder in 1485, when Thessaly was 115 years old.

     Thessaly believes she saw her brother in Lin'sulan in Vailor in 1514, but she is unsure because she hadn't seen him in about 120 years.

     In Axios, Thessaly lives in the Haelun'or capital city of Taliyna'maehr. Her dream is to learn magic and become a Maheral, but she knows she is foolish for that thought. She is now a merchant. Though Taliyna'maehr is nice, she yearns to see more of the world. She often goes on merchant expeditions to other kingdoms and travels a lot, using her knowledge of languages to guide her. She uses her knowledge of the military to avoid getting into trouble, and her knowledge of basic fighting techniques to get out of trouble. Her occupation as a merchant has allowed her to become financially stable for many years to come, so she is merely looking for a good chance to retire to her favorite place in the world, which she hasn't decided on yet.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Thessaly is lady-like and fearsome simultaneously. She isn't the most cunning or devious person, but she knows when someone is using coercion on her, or when something fishy is going on. She has a plentitude of diplomatic capabilities. She loves learning. She can't get enough of it. Like many High Elves, she's rather stuck-up about her race and her intellectual ability, which drives away potential mates. Two snobs don't exactly make the best couple.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Thessaly just wants to learn. She believes because she is an elf she has been blessed with the ability to learn and know everything. She also aspires to lead the people of Haelun'or, and to lead an ostentatious life of luxury.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Thessaly finds her focus of dexterity on linguistics. She is proficient in many languages, and this allows her to boldly go in many regions of Axios without feeling lost.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Thessaly is competitive. Almost too competitive.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) Thessaly is 6'4 and 139 lbs. She has blonde hair and purple eyes. Her skin is fair and sometimes her hair seems almost golden when exposed to the sun.

• Your application is nearly perfect. The only section that needs changing is the appearance. High Elves are known for their fair skin, light hair (any shade of blonde or white), and gem colored eyes. If she were part Wood Elven this appearance would work, but it may be the result of a change in lifestyle due to being labeled as "impure". Otherwise I would suggest changing it a bit to fit the typical image of this particular race. If you'd like any help with editing the skin, I could certainly assist. Feel free to PM me.
