Message To The Dwarven Clergy

Members Of The Clergy,

In each dwarf there is a calling to a higher power, an echo from the gods, Greater and Lesser, that resonates in our lives if but at least once. We assign ourselves to the called for a time but look away from it, being granted the title of Initiate or Priest within the Brathmordakin clergy but leave the call afterward. Priests duties fade into obscurity as they neglect tasks, initiates only work for a year not fully embracing the life as a clergydwed, prophets electing a high prophet but never completing so much as a mass sermon to the dwedmar. I ask, who amongst the true dwedmar people are of the clergy? I have yet to see the actions of recent clergydwed in moving the ideals of the Brathmordakin into the material realm. Anyone can shout ‘For Dungrimm’ but is death the only aspect we are to embody of the gods? Is the forge the only place to embody the actions of Yemekar? Does Belka tell us to only care for our clans? So who of the dwedmar are truly of the clergy?

((Really though, there is nothing happening with the clergy and there is not really a structure to the clergy. Everyone is inactive, can whoever the leaders of the clergy are post a current list of active clergy members?))

You aren't even around so how can you assess activity? I did plenty of events when I first took over the clergy but no one else actively tried to spark up the dwarves. So I stopped. If someone wants to take over now they are welcome to.

Moved to The Great Library. It shall be sorted into the appropriate category shortly.

If you feel this is a mistake, please contact myself or any FM and we'll restore it.
