[!] The posters would be hung in various places around Taliyna'maehr. The symbol on top was carefully stamped onto the parchment, followed by carefully written text.

Myrna Rey'lani for Sohaer

For too long, Haelun'or has been dying. We as a people need to step up and rectify this situation. I, Myrna Reylani, am running for Sohaer as a means to help our beautiful city regain its former glory. When most think of the two running; they think of me as young and inexperienced. While I may be young, I know I am completely capable of bringing our precious Silver State to prosperity once more as Sohaer and I promise I will bring forth all that is within me to help and nourish our home as we work on its regrowth and rebuilding. The following list below contains but some of the few ideas I have for bringing back Haelun'or.

=Introduce Festivals and Events in the City

-These could be seasonal, with games and prizes involved

-Horse races

-Literary contests

-Research and invention fair (science fair)

-Parkour

-Prizes for winning

=Rebuild Taliyna'maehr's Economy

-Hire workers, provide homes, and remove those that are inactive in the city

-Give workers a reason to stay and continue to provide for the city

=Rebuild Taliyna'maehr's Military

-Proper training to be instated

-Benefits for those in the military

=Provide Stability and Safety

-Close the gates

-Monitor who comes into the city

-Instate regular guards (see Military above)

=Reinstate Purity and Knowledge

-Fix the line between First and Second-Class citizenry

-Uphold the values of the Eternal Library and it's laboratories

-Continue to keep said values strong and important in the daily lives of the citizens of Taliyna'maehr

As always, if anyone has any questions or comments for me, do not hesitate to send me a bird and I will respond as quickly as possible.

Icarus reads over the notice with a small frown, promptly shaking his head. "If she wishes to close the gates, then she seeks only to regress us. She will not have my vote with such a stance."

Lyu'sul watches as the various posters are put up, his brow raising as he takes the time to read the parchment's finer print. With a subtle hum, he returns to his typical duties as his hands take their trademarked place behind his back, clasped together. "Interesting." He muses aloud.

[!] Around the city, the posters would have a note pinned beside them, with the '-Close the gates' crossed out. Each note was handwritten by the woman herself.

"Dear Citizens,

I have heard from several members of this fair city that you would prefer to keep the gates open. As I work for the people, I have decided to change this stance for you. The gates will remain open should I make Sohaer."

Signed,

Avenel puffs some smoke, eying the city from a far. "The ballot is in; watch out for the death squads - be wise not fall to the wims of the undesirables. Hope she makes it though, might make for an interesting escapade." He'd say to something cryptic elsewhere, that which saw and heard through symbiotic minds.

Perhaps. Time tells of folly or success -- the fate is hers, should she win. Parkour though? Not very High Elven like, eh Wanderer?"

Avenel shrugs, discharging further smoke from his pipe holding lips.

"Who knows? Times change."

Ganved ambles down the path, his attention towards the piece of parchment he was writing on. He passes the poster, his eyes briefly shifting over to it and scanning its contents. "Progress." he mumbles to himself before continuing down the path, returning to his writing.

Moved to The Great Library. It shall be sorted into the appropriate category shortly. If you feel this is a mistake, please contact myself or any FM and we'll restore it.
