What’s your Minecraft account name?: RavingPancake

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Browsing through google while looking for a new roleplay server.

Definitions

Feel free to Google the answers or use our wiki definitions as a reference, but make sure that you write the write them in your own words, not those of another website or person! Plagiarizing will result in the automatic denial  of your application!

What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is the act of taking on the persona or identity of a character and acting out that character as the character would. This can be done on platforms like pen and paper table top, with games like Dungeons and Dragons and GURPs, and within video games or real life, with LARPs, and games like Skyrim, Mass Effect, and Fallout.

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is the act of taking knowledge gained Out of Character, and using it In Character. Example would be Tom tells Jerry that Tom is declaring war on Jerry’s kingdom, so Jerry’s character Jim starts preparing for war.

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is the act of forcing an act onto a character, or forcing an outcome onto a character. An example would be Tom and Jerry are in a fight, and Tom rolls, and rather than let Jerry defend himself, Tom kills Jerry in a single action.

Biography: Tybalt hails from the town of St. Karlsburg, capital of the Kingdom of Haense. It was there that he grew up raised with the ideals of that of the Hanseti tribe. He was trained in the use of blade and shield, and spent a good deal of his youth, when not in his backyard dueling with his brother, he was studying tactics and religion.
It was this studying and fighting that lead him to a belief in constant self improvement, and so, as he reached his twentieth year, he began to spend his time in the lands surrounding Karlsburg, in which he hunted animals avidly, finding sport in the challenge of following a beast to its layer. It was during one such hunt that he followed a bear back to its cave with nothing but dagger, bow, and arrow. And so it was that, as he snuck up upon the beast, it awoke, and he was met with a challenge far greater than he had faced during his other hunts. He was quick of wit, and immediately ran out the cave, looking for the solitude that was Karlsburg. But foolish he was to trail such a beast, as before he could reach the borders of the town, he was pinned to the ground, his dagger now feet away from him, and the large bear atop him. He struggled, hoping to get out from under the thing, but such struggle was proven fruitless as he was slashed across the eye, blood spilling out into the snow. It was then that he found himself abandoned by the beast, both hands to his eye, a reminder of that which had taken place, and an event to earn him the name Bearclaw.

After this event, Tybalt returned home, blindness threatening him, and spent several weeks resting, his wound healing. After his rest was over, he was met with a changed world. His right eye was blurry, his depth perception there, but failing, and he was, as a result, forced to put down bow and arrow, and the challenge of hunting, for the simple fact that it was something near impossible for him to pursue.
It was then that his life began to change. His brother left to join up with the military as a levyman, and Tybalt was almost tempted to follow in his steps, and would have had his father not gotten ill. After a fit of sickness in which his father was coughing up blood, found weak, and unable to provide for the family, Tybalt had to result to less-than-wholesome means to ensure he remained alive. It was then that he posted up a flier on the town board, looking for work.
For several months, he completed the odd job. Sometimes it would send him away from home for weeks on end as he accompanied a caravan, then looked for work in the next city, and continued moving on. It was during one such trip, in mid-winter, that he received a courier, a man going off rumor and the knowledge of the last caravan Tybalt had left with, that delivered a letter summoning him home at once.
Tybalt left with haste, leaving most supplies he owned in the tavern he had been staying at, and left the main roads for the sake of speed, taking only a steed he had purchased and his blade with him. But he had been a fool, and soon, his steed was unable to continue without the proper feed, and Tybalt found himself hungry, and without proper ability to feed himself, he slowly made his way home, reminding himself of the need to at least say goodbye.
He arrived as winter ended, transitioning into spring, and arrived only to an empty house, a widowed mother, and the corpse of his father. His brother had returned to the military, his mother gotten over her grief, and the will delivered to Tybalt.
He was to have his father’s blade, a simple bastard sword used for standard soldiers such as himself, and was left a letter detailing the last wish his father had for Tybalt, to make a name for himself. So it was that Tybalt set out, finding no solace in a childhood home left empty, and taking his father’s blade, newly named Kinship, and what little rations he would require on the road, and set off, looking for towns and the like as he wandered.
And so it was that 8 years later, Tybalt wound up taking up bed and board in (Insert Spawn City), doing the odd job here and there to pay for it, but generally waiting for the opportunity to make a name of himself to present itself.

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) Tybalt often finds himself endlessly oiling and sharpening his blade while idle, other than that, he refuses to let anyone else maintain for himself or his animals, and he finds himself preferring the company of animals to that of men.

Ambitions: (what does your character aspire to be?) Something better than his life offered him.

Strengths/Talents: (what is your character really, really good at?) Swordplay, using a buckler along with his sword, general finesse, he isn’t particularly unemotional, however he tries not to let it show, and when it does, something has truly hit him hard.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?) Archery, depth perception, sociability, fighting whilst mounted, taking breaks

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)

Tybalt is just above 5’11, but not quite at 6’, his eyes are a deep blue, and his hair a stark contrast with its shade of near straw. His has a thick scar going down his right eye, stopping just above his chin, and another that lines his jawline. He typically wears a rough beard, and often lets his hair fall down to shoulder length.

Skin: (please provide us a screenshot of your character’s skin; if you need help, see our screenshot guide here.)
