Greetings be upon ye, reader.

 

Let it be heard and known that I, Lodbairn, known to some but not yet all Dwed who live in this fair city Omith, wish to honour the memory of my departed wife Dagmar by donating to the Temple of Brathmordakin in her name a sum of five-thousand silver pieces.

 

She came naught by land as she should have, but by sea, and in storm her ship was sundered and all souls lost. To her honour I bid you raise a tankard, for she was a hardy woman, and good-hearted. I only wish that she had learnt to swim.
