What is Roleplaying?: Roleplaying is when you put yourself in the shoes/perspective of a character you act/write for! You make decisions based off what your character would do ICly rather than you OOCly.

What is Metagaming?: Metagaming is when you use OOC information to give your character an advantage ICly. It is frowned upon in the RP communities.

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Power Emoting is when you take control of another player's character. By either writing how they feel or how they react to certain actions. Your character is your own and somebody else's is their own!

Now you actually make your character - be creative but stay reasonable! Make sure they make sense and that they follow lore. Try to come up with a character that you actually want to play.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the server lore): Annabelle or "Anna" was born just a little bit in the outskirts from Metz, The capital of the kingdom of Lotharingia on the year of 1596 she is 19 of age. Her Father (Eckhart Turley) was a Heartlander who spent most of his time in Calais, he enjoyed to travel and see different parts of the world so he worked as merchant or.. a trader.  During his travels to another city he met a woman by the name of Edith. Another Heartlander from Ponce a place under the authority of the Church of Canon. She worked as a tailor. Making outfits for those of people in her city. She made a good living from it.  Once Edith and Eckart met they had fallen in love straight away. Eckart made the first move to the lady and from then on they grew more in love with as the days passed, it didn't take long for them to finally be wed. As the years passed and they started to come up with plans. They decided to leave their homes from whence they came from and go out and start their own farm in the outskirts of Metz. Where her parents started their own farm and after settling in.. they decided to have their first child, Annabelle Turley. The young girl grew up helping around the farm; tending to animals; planting, etc. Everyday tasks that were required done by her parents. Growing up she has always looked out in the world and wanted to explore it and see what it held. She hasn't explored much outside of her farm, unless she was transporting goods to nearby towns but it never ventured too far from her home. Not much to say but she is a simple and some may say a "boring" girl but.. she dreams. Maybe she'll find that adventure soon enough! Who knows what the future will hold.

 

Personality Traits: Anna is a pretty shy girl before you start really getting to know her. Once she gets comfortable with somebody she'll be pretty talkative. One of her habits is that she tends to talk more than she should sometimes when she's nervous. She doesn't like to lie unless it's something she absolutely needs to do. She doesn't like drunks, only because of prior experiences she's had with certain individuals. She likes knowing her family is doing fine, and she has a thing for eleven architecture and the look of elves. She sees their whole persona with such grace and elegance. She'd do anything to age up as well as they do.  (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?)

 

Ambitions: Even though this simple girl does enjoy the peaceful life of her farm. She dreams of seeing things she never has before, experiencing things she has dreamed of. She aspires to be somebody that has seen the world with her own eyes, so that her children in the future would have stories to hear. 

 

Strengths/Talents: Surprisingly enough Anna has trained with a sword, though she isn't amazing at it she has gotten quite good at it. Her father had trained her growing up as a way for her to defend herself in her everyday job. The world was dangerous and he knew that he had to teach her daughter to protect herself. She has a good eye for nature, she can tell when something is bad or good whether to consume or even touch. Anna has been complimented to be very charismatic when it comes to dealing with people. Though she is a bit shy she can sure put on a good act when trying to get what she wants.(what is your character really, really good at?)

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: Anna isn't very good with traveling on foot. She is better off in a carriage or wagon being pulled by horses. She fatigues easily because of it. She also tends to panic when the going starts getting tough which... makes her pretty adorable but also a pain to travel with. She overall needs to work on being braver. (what is a skill that your character needs to work on?)

 

Appearance: Anna has short brown hair with brown eyes and pretty tan skin (due to working outside) She is an average height for a woman her age as she is 5'5 standing. She doesn't have any scars but she has light freckles on her skin that hard to spot unless you really look at her closely. (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?)
