What’s the rule you agree with the most?: The rule I agree the most is "No backseat moderating". The reason I feel it's the most important is because we should trust in the people who run this website and the server to run it by themselves. If they've been able to run this for a few years then i'm sure they're more than capable.

How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: I was looking for a medieval roleplay server which allows anyone no matter the age. I tried applying for another server before this one and was turned down due to being only 13.

Definitions

 

What is  Roleplaying ?: Roleplay is when you play a character and not yourself. Roleplaying is also keeping your character in the setting, meaning if you were doing a medieval roleplay, you wouldn’t start using terms like “LOL” or saying “Sup, mate!”.

What is  Metagaming  ?: Metagaming is when someone acquires information on a roleplay that they aren't supposed to know such as: walking past a local conversation in OOC context. Someone says that they will try to secretly kill another character in RP with the other players consent of course.

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Powergaming is when someone does something they physically shouldn't be able to do such as: saying in chat that they did something which wounded the other player but they didn’t agree on it.

Biography  (This is one of the most important sections of the application. Please take your time and make it a decent paragraph long. Read up on your character's race and be sure to add at least one accurate reference from the  server lore ): She was born in 1605, Haney was girl who lived around the outskirts of the Kingdom of Haense with a group of  fellow Highlanders. She was never very good at hunting, but was excellent at theft. Unfortunately for her, at the age of 16 her whole group was murdered by beasts and she escaped to the capital of Haense, St. Karlsburg.  She dyed her hair white to look more like how she imagined a bandit would look and from that day forth she stole from the people to keep herself alive. While living in the kingdom she felt empty, like she had no purpose, so she decided that in order to feel like she had a purpose she vowed to become the most well known thief in Haense. And then the word. In her spare time she'd visit taverns and learn about the world from the people who were there. 

Personality Traits: (what are your character's quirks?; habits?; likes and dislikes?) She enjoys visiting taverns and meeting people there to learn more about the world. She keeps a journal highlighting all the information she has learnt. She isn’t fond of company but can tolerate friends if she knows them well enough.

Ambitions: She dreams of being a master thief known all around the world

Strengths/Talents: An good thief who can occasionally steal successfully from people but most of the time she gets caught and has to flee.

Weaknesses/Inabilities: She is terrible in proper combat and ends up with loads of cuts and bruises.

Appearance: (what does your character look like?; how tall are they?; hair color?; scars?) She has long white hair, tied in pigtails which she dyed to look more like what she pictured a bandit would. She wears a black shirt with white accents and keeps a dagger on her shorts. She is quite short for her age at only 5 feet tall.

Howdy there, DigiFan03. The application that you have posted is of good quality, but it has a few flaws that need to be fixed before I can accept you as a white-listed player on Lord of the Craft. I will be posting a few changes under this paragraph that you will need to complete in twenty-four hours, or I will have to deny your application. If you need any assistance with these changes, or anything else, feel free to message me in game, on the forums, or post on my wall.

Changes:

- Biography: The biography you have provided for your character is good, but you need to add a few more sentences to elaborate further on your character. Your biography is a place for you to expand on your character's motives, background, and traits, so use it effectively and get creative!

 

- Appearance/Skin: The color of your character's skin is not lore compliant as a stand alone color. Gray/White would only be able to be a natural color if your persona was a lot older. If you would still like to keep this color, you could add in your biography that she dyed her hair to disguise herself as a bandit.

 

- Strengths: In your application, you included that you would "almost always be able to steal small things from people". This needs to be reworded to just a "good thief", due to the fact that roleplay is not static and the outcome could always change. That response makes it seem a bit, powergamey, but it is a very small fix.
