How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?:

 

I was looking for an old woman skin what had to be last year and I came across a thread called "You should play an ugly woman" or something along those lines.

What is roleplaying?:

 

Roleplaying is playing a role, putting yourself in the place of a character and acting how you imagine they would act.

Biography:

 

Evan was born in Haense in the year 1586 to relatively poor day laborer and his wife. They provided for him as well as they could but as he began to enter adulthood he realized that he had little to no means of advancement so when he was 15 (in 1629) he joined a small company of mercenaries that protected the goods of a merchant who sold things from Norland to Courland. Several years later, the company was purchased by a larger company and sent to perform more dangerous tasks elsewhere, but Crane simply quit the company and soon found work with a separate group running the same route for the same merchant.

 

Besides a few chance encounters with easily frightened bandits, Crane had a long and uneventful mercenary career until 1663 when a wagon accident left him unable to traverse the long distances required for his profession and he retired with a small pension, enough to start a new, quiet and comfortable life with some more relaxing career.

 

Personality Traits:

 

Crane is a simple man who appreciates the small things in life. He is quiet, kind, never argumentative, and can tell a great story.

 

Ambitions:

 

Evan just wants the simple life of a florist, and maybe to find some romance.

 

Strengths/Talents:

 

Evan was not the strongest mercenary in any of his companies, or the smartest or the most deadly, but he was level-headed and reliable and always followed orders to a T, making him a valuable asset to the crew.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities: 

 

Evan can't talk to women. He gets nervous and clumsy, so he tries to live vicariously through other people, causing him to meddle too much in the affairs of others.

 

Appearance: 

 

Evan is tall and looks lanky, but he has his fair share of muscle from his years on the road. He has light brown hair that is in early stages of going grey, a walrus-style moustache, blue-green eyes and an unsightly scar in a hook  across his face.
