How did you find out about Lord of the Craft?: Initially I discovered this server while server hunting with a friend for a YouTube series a couple years back. More recently a friend has been trying to convince me to join and play with him.

What is Roleplaying?: Using one’s imagination to act out the actions of a character they wish to be in a likely imagined world and scenario.

 

What is Metagaming?: Using knowledge that a player has outside of the game to aid in recognizing an in-game situation the character would otherwise be unaware of.

 

What is Power-emoting (Powergaming)?: Maximizing on specific categories/skills to attempt to reach an end goal as competitively and quickly as possible.

 

In-Character Information

 

Character’s name: Roshen Beastforge

 

Character’s sex: Male

 

Character’s race: Forest Dwarf

 

Character’s age: 560

 

Biography:

When young, Roshen found himself to not fit with the rest of the Beastforge clan, with their pride in their axes and hunting. He could not seem to master the weapons they gave him, resorting to extra training to keep pace. Near the end of his time as a Beardling in the clan he found himself to be skilled at hand to hand combat over his clanmates and began to overcome them with their weapons.

 

Roshen began to join the hunts of his brethren, and through pure acrobatic and physical prowess slew beasts by himself. A few decades later he stopped growing stronger, and tried again to master weapons, failing. At this time, Roshen resigned himself to studying over flaunting with women and partying with his brothers.

 

Realizing not long later that he would need spiritual and mental clarity to do it, Roshen put himself into a self imposed exile until the tides of time changed and his clan may need him again. Hiding in the unfamiliar lands of Ceru, trekking through the woods and snow, he pushed his limits and practiced technique. Occasionally he may have been glimpsed roaming the region, but few, if any, remember.

 

No longer being able to stand the solitude, and believing his martial art to be as close to perfected as he could get he comes out, a little worse for wear and wanting to test his skills and learn more.

 

Personality Traits:

When not training, Roshen tends to lazily eat, fish, and read. Roshen specifically enjoys women and learning above all else, believing wits are necessary to enhance combat skills.

 

Ambitions:

Roshen has gone to the life of the hermit,waiting for the day his clan mates wished to rejoin the modern world. He trains so as to help his clan on the path to glory.

 

Strengths/Talents:

As may be predicted, Roshen is especially good at hand to hand combat, and due to years of training with his clan, is adept at sailing and sea combat. He is relatively flexible and swift for his age due to centuries of training.

 

Weaknesses/Inabilities:

Roshen is prone to lecherous behavior and can be bribed or taunted in most circumstances with anything overtly sexual. Can be manipulated using his clan mates and students as you would imagine they could be.

 

Appearance:

Roshen is bald with a white beard and hook nose. There is a small tattoo of his clan emblem at the base of his skull. His Baldness and lack of a trophy cloak separate him from most Beastforge, but in his apparel you find muted, dark leathers and cloth, with bands of silver in his beard and the clan colors in his belt buckle. Complete with a pair of basic leather cestus.
