A tepid day on the serene western shores of Atlas. The air reverberant of sea aroma and the distant cawing of idle gulls. Waves tardily envelop the beaches which lay thick with the remnants of marooned sea shells and marine vegetation. The glorious transport ships coiled up the beachhead like bulldozers, a tidal wave of sand and bantam rocks at their feet as their progression drew to halt. First to dismount stood Augustus Silverblade, present-day Lord to the House Silverblade who rapidly tarnished his documents to grasp hold of the closest mooring rope and pull frantically to retrieve their vessel. Silverblade bannermen followed close behind, aiding their paramount in the collimation of their wooden transportation.

“Heave! Heave! Heave!”

The dissonance of creaking timber on rushing sands, the snapping of wicker rope against cotton sails as cries of controlled panic spurred the valiant efforts of man in establishing their watercraft ashore. After hours of tedious reconstruction and organisation, the colony had established camp. Their ships lined the impediment of land to sea while make shift tents scattered the sandy plateau. However this camp unlike most entailed a diverse following with the likes of Elvish bowmasters and Druidic healers coexistent with Dwarven forgers and skilled miners bearing the most intricate of tiny trinkets and bejewelled chalices, each escorted by heartlander Silverblade bannermen. Clearly great wealth and assortment came with this voyage, and that materialistic quality influenced the eager hearts of these new home-comers.

At the head of the camp situated a lordly canopy, where amidst the shelter stood a temporary article of furniture that displayed the vast illustration of Atlas in great detail, with all the landmarks and their respective names included. To the head of the table stood Augustus, leaning over the dispersed parchments in determined focus, grimacing as he’d read the documents to hand. Augustus being from a militarized decent, wore darkened silver plate with a royal blue textile spread over both his shoulders. A man midway through his fifties he impressed a short, kempt haircut with gradient of silver to either side, a sign of age progressing him. With a moments contemplation, cousin Roei entered the setting accompanied by Ariana, the sister to Augustus. Behind them stood the idle Silverblade family. A tall, graceful collective showing evident characteristic of their Human-Elvish bloodline, an aristocratic spectacle to behold once more. Augustus pulls his gaze upwards, meeting the eyes of Roei, Ariana and furthermore the rest of his extended family. A smile cracks the dry, chapped lips of the sea air upon Augustus’ expression.

The Noble Silverblade family all congregate at the mouth of their lordly canopy, overlooking the acne of silver and blue before them comprised of bannermen and camp followers loyal to the house, waiting to be addressed by their governing entity. Augutus stepped forward, winged by Roei, Ariana and the rest of the prestigious family overlooking the disciples they govern. With a gasp of fresh, sea air as the sun set on the horizon, Augustus began to pry…
