A MISSIVE TO THE SCARLET CRUSADER

Issued and Confirmed by His Excellency, The Chancellor of Ardennes, Callan II of the House of Gromach, 8th of Amber Cold, 1685.

TO OUR BELOVED SUBJECTS

The fort of the Scarlet Crusade sat nested within the Empire’s lands, infiltrating the lands of Ardennes and yet it’s owner was no man sworn to the emperor. A man with no loyalties or oath to the Emperor had acquired this land; warning had been provided for it’s eviction time and time again with the threats made clear.

It is with this that the Margrave of Ardennes does formally decree:

  • The lands of the Scarlet Crusader are to be seized on the authority of Ardennes and the Empire.
  • The Scarlet Crusader and his group are to be branded enemies of the March.
  • Any associate of the Scarlet Crusader that attempts to defend the lands or interrupt in the Empires justice shall be branded an enemy of the March.

IN NOMINE DEI,

LORD PROTECTOR, Francis d’Amaury, Margrave of Ardennes, Baron of Belcrest and Lord of Summerhall
