Dandelions

GnbfLfq.png

Dandelions.

Old as Aegis, yet young as a newborn,

Covering every hill and knoll since the dawn of time,

Dandelions are peculiar things.

Some remove them, thinking them plain,

Others cherish them, letting is flourish in large fields

Like rows of flowers in lieu of crops,

Turning the lands from green to yellow.

Like Rosenyr wines, Dandelions age

From simple yellows to silky whites and grey,

Turning the fields and prairies into fields of cotton.
Unlike wines, there is no consumption.

Only observation.

The fine petals of the Dandelion, turned white and soft,

Fly far away in the wind, sowing another field.

Like magic crops that seed and harvest themselves.

Branborough was filled with Dandelions,

Their petals filling the air with warm snow.

Petyr probably liked them,

And you will like them too.

It’s not like they take “no” for an answer.
