I. PURPOSE:

As the Ragukian cogs churn no more, and the oils dry out from the mine, the Raguks grow restless. If fates move on without adaptation, each of them will die of infirmity and pestilence. Even the bloody civil war between them and Krugmar has grown dormant, long gone was the age of Ragukian war.

 

However, the Pantheon are merciful, and it is in an ork’s nature to take up arms. Thus, a band of Raguks, red and ready, set alight the forges again and sought into Arcas’ political spectrum, travelling from overseas, their sole purpose to seeking glory, a bloody death and fitting end upon the battlefield, and finally to enter the fields of Stargush’Stroh.

II. Gear and Ranks

Despite the obvious death-wish these orks have, Azhugians are outfitted in the heaviest plate, often glamorous and often forged from within the Dar Ob Griizh pits, armor blessed by the spirits. It is not abnormal to witness Azhugians marching proudly, armor decorated with trinkets and past trophies in hopes to be recognized by the spirits.

 

However, the Azhugian Guard does not enforce any uniform onto it’s members, as how much protection one wants before death is subjective. However, the smiths do provide a standard uniform for those who query, and it is suggested that the Azhugians wear such.

 

     STANDARD GEAR:

1. Rus-esque bloodsteel helm and Visor: Greatly protects from overhead strikes whilst not limiting vision.

2. Bloodsteel pauldrons and Chestplate: Armor which protects from blades, whilst displaying muscular plate abs.

3. Chainmail Hauberk: Adds an extra layer of protection.

4. Belt and leg-protective plate: Guards Orkish thighs, whilst being able to carry various materials in pouches and other sacks. 

5. Boots and gloves: Protects against the elements.

 

Greatly inspired by the Leydlukian Raguk reign, of which Raguks were best outfitted, Leydluk’s legionnaires kept their arms when joining the Honor Guard. See FMFM 0-1 for further info.

 

 

      RANKS:

The Honor Guard holds no established chain of command, with grunts, NCO’s, officers then commanders. Rather, all members are equal, except the Azgoth, who leads the company.
