-Quorum is met (10 present, 6 absent.)

-Governess of Curon is honored by Speaker Sigmar Baruch.

-Ivan Ruthern is congratulated on carrying out a successful coup. He is reminded that he will not hold his own seat on the Duma until the current term has been completed.

~LPQs begin; floor is yielded to Henrik Vanir. ~

-Lord Vanir presses the Lord Palatine, inquiring why a letter of apology that was distributed to members of the Duma was not made public.

-The Lord Palatine responds, stating that the letter was meant to be a private affair, not a tool to enhance his political reputation.

-Lord Vanir continues his inquiry, asking the Lord Palatine why he did not write a letter to the dwarves in the manner of General Tiberius’s, before the General wrote his.

-The Lord Palatine dismisses the question, reminding the Duma that he is not a military man, and would rather leave such affairs to those who specialize in them.

-Lord Vanir continues, asking the Lord Palatine why a promised defense canal has not yet been dug.

-The Lord Palatine argues that this canal will provide no actual defense for the Kingdom, and that the Aulic council concurs with him on this point.

~A chorus of non sequiturs agitate the Lord Speaker, who shouts down the room to bring them back to order.~

-The Lord Speaker chastises the hall for their factionalist squabbling, reminding them of very real war on their doorsteps.

-Henrik Vanir yields, imploring the other members of his party to show greater respect to decorum.

~Reinhard Markanz takes the floor.~

-Markanz accuses the Lord Palatine of cowardice while on a mission to Adria.

-The Speaker dismisses the accusation as a legitimate grounds for a vote of impeachment.

-The Lord Palatine apologizes for his past wrongs.

~More disorder ensues; the Lord Speaker calls the chamber back to a tenuous order.~

-The Feudalist bench continues to push for a vote of impeachment of the Lord Palatine.

-The Lord Speaker rebukes the Chamber for their boorish behavior, threatening to remove any that continue to cause mischief during his speech.

-The Lord Speaker accepts the vote of no confidence, on the condition that its sponsors write a letter to the King outlining their grounds for making the vote.

-Markanz insists that the vote be carried out in the Chamber at that very time.

~The Lord Speaker relents, and the vote of no confidence proceeds.~
