Uhieran Handbook

17th of The Deep Cold, 1749

The Uhieran, originally founded in 1719 by Azorella Elibar’acal, was refounded by Althaia Elibar’acal in 1749 in order to educate and cultivate the growth of the youth of the Silver State. It is a way to bring together the ‘thill oem’ii and grow bonds with one another through games, campouts, educational activities, and exploration.

The Uhieran consists of the scouts and the scout haeluns/malns. Any child under the age of 50 may join as a scout, and any adult over the age of 50 may join as a scout haelun or maln.

Uhieran Pledge
I pledge loyalty and allegiance to the Diarchy and vow to uphold the standards of maehr'sae hiylun'ehya and purity as I pursue the path of Silver.

Uhieran Ranks
Every time a scout earns a badge, they receive a certain amount of points based on the badge’s difficulty. If they accumulate points, they may climb the ranks of the Uhieran as follows:

[ I ] Ficóon
By earning their first badge (the Haler badge, received by reciting the Uhieran pledge), the scout has proven themselves a true member.

[ II ] Barbu’lentos
By accumulating 60 points, the scout becomes a Barbu’lentos. These scouts are more experienced than a Ficóon.

[ III ] Tahorran’vallel
After gaining 120 points, the scout becomes a Tahorran’vallel. These are even more experienced and are becoming fine examples in the community.

[ VI ] Chirr’ceru
Those who earn every single badge possible are truely and rightfully called a Chirr’ceru, meaning mighty wolf. These individuals are clearly going to become successful and admirable mali’thill.

Scout Cookies
In order to help the blessed Silver State, the scouts sell Scout Cookies available in their stall in the market area beside the Lesser District, directly past the gates. All proceeds go to the Silver State. The cookies and their descriptions were made by the esteemed Azorella Elibar’acal, the original founder of the Uhieran.

Thill Mints
Purchasing a box of Thill Mints—our round, mint-flavored cookies with a delicious chocolatey coating—helps a malii learn money management. They handle money, keep records, even track orders—activities that are essential to running a successful business.

Sillumoas
A tasty treat isn't all that's involved with a box of our caramel and toasted coconut-covered cookies. Through interaction with each customer and other Scouts, a Uhieran learns the importance of keeping their word, doing the right thing, and being fair.

Tagalaurirs
A layer of peanut butter with a rich chocolatey coating? Mouth-watering treats. But did you know that every box a ‘thill sells helps them learn decision making? They make a plan, solve problems on their own, and think creatively—skills they need to be successful, now and in the future.

Badges
With a total of 100 badges to be earned, the Uhieran have plenty ahead of them. The badges are divided into seven categories with five different levels of difficulty to them. The amount of points earned for each badge depends on the difficulty rating, so even if a scout earns 50 badges, they may not receive the next rank if every badge is difficulty I.
