To the faithful citizens of the Holy Orenian Empire!

 

The time has come, in this latter half of our winter season, to allow merriment into our hearts during these trying and sorrowful times. As stated and noted in ‘Imperial Holidays and Historical Events’, we welcome the Orenian holiday known as ‘St. Julia’s Day’,  which promotes both romantic and familial love and appreciation.

Firstly, a mass dedicated to Saint Julia of Paradisus will be lead within the Basilica of the Final Revelation, to speak on the divine acts of the great wife of Horen, father of Humanity. Donations to the Church and for the maintaining of the Basilica shall also be collected.

 

Afterward, all in attendance are invited to the newly-refurbished Barony of Provins, located just east of the city of Helena and home to our own Minister of Culture, Anna Maria Pruvia. Guests will be able to enjoy a great feast and picnic, with the option to seat lakeside within the expansive vineyards or upon blankets among the thriving lemon orchard. Those joined in marriage or those courting may take this time to profess their love, whilst brothers and sisters may speak fondly on times spent with family and their love for their kin. Adornments and accents of flowers and hearts are encouraged to decorate your attire. Prizes will be granted to those with the most creative implementations of this theme, embodying the spirit of the holiday!

 

At the end of the merriment, the magi of Oren will honor the attendees with a fantastical show, to wow and awe all visitors as a representation of their voidal prowess. It is surely to be a holiday of great spectacle and gay abandon!

 

This event, as sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, will be guarded by the Imperial State Army. Please refrain from bringing any weaponry or items that could harm the festival-goers.
