An act to introduce the legal defense of insanity.

INTRODUCTION
The Haurul Caezk provides many legal defenses that defendants may use in their trials. However, one defense that does not exist is that of insanity: an unfortunate situation that many of our veterans and elderly find themselves in after their experiences. It is not right that they should be punished for acts committed while not of sound mind.

 

1. Definitions
- Insanity shall be defined as the state of not being of sound mind, being irrational or foolish to an extreme.

 

2. Amendments

HC 310 shall be amended with the following:

 

 310.06: Insanity
310.061: Where a party committed a crime while insane or not of sound mind, they shall not be held liable or shall receive reduced punishment.
310.0611: Insanity must be proven by a medical official who has been certified by the Haeseni Surgeon General.
