An aspiring artist

A young elf sits near the crossroads, humming a quiet tune while sketching something on a piece of paper. As you approach, she lifts her head and smiles at you, saying:

"Hail, traveller. Would you like your picture drawn?"

When you hestitate, she continues:

"I can do the portrait for free, if you do not wish to pay me, for I am not a professional yet."

She smiles again, this time a bit apologetically.

"Still, it would be great to recieve some sort of payment - I do not wish to starve to death", she adds and laughs a bit. "But I understand that not all of us are rich, so I do not require any kind of payment. Art should be available for every one of us."

Apollan stops and smiles at the girl. "I would love a picture!" He replies. "I can give you bread and stew if you want. We druid always carry around extra food. It would not due to have an elf starve to death right in the middle of the city!"
