The Office of the Deputy Director of Immigration hereby establishes a program of new Citizen induction under the Ministry of Civil Affairs. The program shall seek to achieve the following outcomes on behalf of the Imperial State.

 

I. Integrate New Citizens into the Census

II. Affirm Imperial Identity of the Citizen

III. Orient Citizens to the Imperial State, its Culture, History, and Institutions

IV. Seek to place them in Housing

V. Link new Citizens to State or Private Employment within the State. 

VI. Link Non-Intelligent Persons to potential sponsors to gainfully employ them

STRUCTURE of the New Citizen Induction Programme

 

Overview

The Overall course instruction shall be led by the Deputy Directorate of Immigration and its employees. The courses do not need to be completed in a single period, but do need to be completed in succession in order to be considered a graduate. The course shall be hosted once every two years on Tobias’ Bounty from the Ministry's current office space in Providence, or an ad-hoc basis if more than five citizens require induction. New Citizens are directed to enroll in the course at the Ministry of Civil Affairs building. The next course dates shall be announced within the department.

 

Funding

Funding for the program will be derived from fee’s charged to private employers for recruiting space and through requests from the treasury, which shall be submitted directly to the Director of Civil Affairs for submission to the Treasury.

 

Guest Instruction

The Deputy Director of Immigration shall make public the gauged interests of all applicants, so that each Ministry, the ISA, the Church and Private enterprise may see potential applicants. As applicants may complete this form throughout the course, each instructor is encouraged to send their instructor to teach.

**Immigration will help the Citizen find a house in a location of their choice. If they choose to live somewhere in the Empire other than Providence, a request will be made to the Treasury to subsidize their housing for two years.
^^Private Employers across the Empire may pay to attend this day to find new workers for their business. A fee of 5 minas will be levied to attend to recruit individuals.
